Mirka its over price. we got 4 mirka in our shop they all quit after a year after warranty expired. i bough 3 max xt at amazon for price of one of Mirka. it perform just as good as Mirka and its over a yaer now nothing broken yet

Year? Mirka warranty is 2 year and you can add 1 year if you register the tool after buying

Thank you for you video. I just purchased the dewalt 38l stainless steel shop vac and that very same adapter for my sander. The adapter fits the sand but the adapter does not fit the vac!! But your video explains a lot and what I need to do thanks again.

feel stupid for not knowing or thinking of doing this, great video. i got a SD,HD and 4k processing, I got stuck on the HD and 4k after I did this the HD processed straight away but had to wait a couple of minutes for the 4k to finish

Thanks for the video Juan - I am also a long time woodworker just getting into turning. A friend gave me a Shop Smith clone with a slowest speed of 850, which is actually 980RPM, and I tried turning an 8’ round x8” long oak log, and ouch it was like being beaten up. I did not understand about the approach angle, riding the bevel, etc. but also I think the speed was too high. So I will try turning some smaller blanks because of the higher speed. As someone said the goal in the beginning is simply to make lots of shavings.

Thanks Gary, I suggest you look up a few demo videos by Stuart Batty he’s the 40-40 master. Regarding speed once you get the hang of that gouge it should be fine. I usually turn something 8 inches at 1000 unless I’m getting shake at the beginning but once stable I go to around 1200, on 10 to 12 inches I do minimum 700 max 1100. But you need to be confident you got a good hold on your piece. I also find the 40-40 body position to almost always places you out of the line of fire. Do take your time with shallow cuts though, no rush, every pass is one more practice pass under your belt 😊

Not 100% sure but i would say yes because it happened to me on a different channel (openhouse24) where the client asked for a re-edit a re-upload and got almost no views despite 400K subscribers.
