Mit der AGA von Hperformance klinkt der RS3 viel besser, auf video's ist es leider schwierig rüber zu bringen. Aber mit der 4" zoll 101,6 mm AGA hört mann wenigstens der 5ZYL wieder trotz OPF.

There is a reason you don't see basically ANY videos about modifying b7 NMS Passats. Because it's near impossible or not even worth doing. Just buy a different car, and 2023 Passat is MQB. Then you can use pretty much all the aftermarket parts for MQB cars and swap other mqb cars engines. The reason you see these people swapping an rs3 engine into a passat is because their passat is mqb and so is the rs3. You might be able to do a DAZA swap but by the time you're said and done you probably could have bought and paid for an RS3 instead.

Thom, du erinnerst dich an das Autobahn Video des DVX RS3 542 PS Raststätte Kalbecker Forst? Leider sind da die kommentare deaktiviert aber ich meine mich erinnern zu können, dass du damals dazu geschrieben hattest, zu diesem Zeitpunkt wäre trotz Stufe 2 Leistung bereits der TTE700 im Fahrzeug verbaut gewesen? Kannst du das so bestätigen oder war damals noch der original Lader verbaut? Und erinnerst du dich noch, ob auf diesem Stück Autobahn vorm Rastplatz im Abschnitt Beschleunigung ca. 60-210 kmh, eine leichte Steigung oder absolut ebene Strecke war? Für meine Augen sieht das im Video an dieser Stelle nach leichter Steigung aus, und für "nur" 542 PS und mit 2 Mann an Bord wäre das für den Serienlader ungewöhnlich kräftig.

I reckon it was pretty staight forward. VAG cars use the same wiring harnesses, the engine itself isn't much larger than a 2.0 TFSI, and the RS3 has the Haldex AWD system just like any Passat AllTrack. Some fabrication was probably required to fit certain stuff, but it's definitely doable.

@@whotf888 Would you know off hand if the trans needs to be changed? Currently going to try do a 2.5 swap into a Passat CC 3.6L , it's got the DQ250 but going to upgrade the clutches, just don't know if the engine can go straight in without anything else
