I remember this event. I was there. If you talked to me 13 years ago I thought their protest was based in bigotry. I just didn't know about the oppression Palestinians face in greater Israel. I knew about the conflict between the Arabs and Jews over the land but my bigotry against Muslims as a result of the 9/11 attacks allowed me to dehumanize them and believe negative generalizations about all Muslims. I could not see the Palestinians as a real distinct people. It was just a word on a page so I rationalized the stealing this land from the "Arabs" as not a big deal. I did not know the horrors taking place in Gaza and the West Bank. I knew nothing about their persecution. I did not know. How did I miss this one for so long?

It takes. Immense bravery. For a person to admit their ignorance and mistakes. I commend you on that. You are saying it through an anonymous account. Imagine the bravery it took for these 11 students to risk their freedom and college careers. Liberate yourself and become Muslim.

Glad tidings for your awakening. Nevertheless it is Allaah SWT whom has expanded your breasts with assurance hence you feel a sense of urgency to rectify your thoughts to intentions and Allaah knows best. However I must say, the same way you or I or them were “ fed lies “ blindly, you can’t wholeheartedly blame the false narrative… Verily man has a mind of his own, it is from our own negligence to willingness to pick which ground to stand firm upon without wavering that’s a sign of courage. Experiences and knowledge shape our relationship with self let alone what’s right. Peace.

I’m beginning to strongly feel Ramos is becoming an evil name! Before Uvalde TX there was the capital gazette shootings also by a Ramos “Jared” who’s currently serving time in a Maryland state prison but 1 Ramos dead in Uvalde TX but 2 more to go Many and Jared! I’m sorry but I’d rather be a 13 year old in a jacuzzi with a Polanski then to ever have to deal with a Ramos!!!

She didn’t want her face shown until the boys were convicted 2nd time around. She was drunk and so were they. Pretty crappy she is playing a victim when she wanted to be excepted by the crowd by having group sex. Girls also have to account for their actions. These boys should have never had alcohol. Period. They were all stupid!

I just watched a very old 48 Hours investigation documentary about this case last night. I was waiting patiently during the interviews with the victim, in which she concealed her identity, for her to discuss the events that took place the night before the alleged rape. According to the boys, as well as the girls who came with the victim, she had behaved in a very overtly sexual manner the previous evening. Allegedly, she completely disrobed in front of everyone at one point. According to the three boys, they learned the next morning that all three of them had been sexually intimate with her during the night. Allegedly, over the course of a five hour span, she had sex with all three boys. They said that they’d each believed they were the only one, until consulting with each other the morning after. Not very surprisingly, they invited her back the next night. Actually, they invited all of the girls back, but the other girls didn’t want to go. The alleged victim wanted to go back badly enough, to go alone. I was waiting to hear her address and/or deny these allegations, but she never denied it, and she never even tried to explain it. Now, if she didn’t have sex with all three boys individually over a span of a few hours, after having just met them that night, I’m quite sure she would have boldly protested that claim. She would have said “That absolutely did not happen!” She didn’t do that. Of course, I’m not saying that if it did happen, they couldn’t have raped her the next night. I’m not saying that at all. And in fact, Greg Haidl admitted in his interview that he was angry at her, after learning he had not been the only one she’d had sex with. What I am saying, is that it gives great credence to the claim that her behavior was extremely promiscuous, and out of control. It seems to indicate that something was very wrong with her. You don’t typically see that level of promiscuity or self-destructive/self-degrading behavior from a teenage girl, unless she’s already been a victim of some sort of sexual abuse. It’s highly unusual. I also heard from jurors who stated that there were many moments on the videotape that seemed to demonstrate her active participation in the sexual acts that took place. Now, common sense would normally tell you that no conscious sixteen year-old girl would consent to what they did to her. Sex with multiple partners, and involving the use of foreign objects. That’s just what we know happened. I don’t know how bad it really was, because those details were not shared. For example, we don’t know if there was oral or anal penetration involved. However, if ever there was a time this could be possible, her behavior the previous night seems to lend potential credibility to that idea. Without seeing that tape, it is very difficult to make a judgment in this case. I was really interested in hearing from the jurors who viewed the tape, because they’re the only ones who can provide an objective opinion regarding what they saw. However, the first jury voted 11-1 to acquit them on the first count, unable to get any further. I heard from several jurors who claimed the tape showed some level of active, on-going participation from the alleged victim. One juror said the complete opposite. She said the video showed a completely unconscious girl who was not actively participating in any way, and that “her level of consciousness, was not that of what I have ever seen of any normal sexual act, ever.” Oddly, despite being one of the 11 jurors who voted to acquit on the first count, a male juror chimed in at this time to say “I’m not too sure that some of the people on the not-guilty side (which included him!), weren’t thinking about their own sons. You take a kid that’s nineteen now; he’s gonna be seventy-five years-old when he gets out of there.” I thought that was very revealing. Apparently, none of the jurors on the not-guilty side gave much thought to their own daughters, or imagined what happens when you take a 16 year-old girl and gang rape her with objects! Even more revealing was the juror who stated, when asked what she thought of the boys, that she wanted to “jump over the table, and spank all three of them.” So, in her eyes, the 17 year-old boys were children who needed spanking for their misdeeds rather than criminal penalties, and the youth and innocence of the alleged victim never really entered her mind. It’s very strange. You can see that they felt more sympathy for the alleged perpetrators than they did the alleged victim! At one point, the defense attorney for the boys in the first trial, says “I challenge the prosecutor to show me one part of this tape, one part of this tape (holds up one finger), where this girl was held down by force.” This, of course, makes no sense. If the victim is unconscious, and thus unable to fight back or control her own body as the prosecution contends, there would be no need for force. In fact, that’s exactly why rapists use intoxicating substances to facilitate their crimes! That is the purpose of date-rape drugs like Rohypnol or GHB. The victim in unable to fight back, which means the perpetrator can manipulate them with little to no force, and they are left with no clear memory of the event, so they cannot credibly accuse them. Then, they have the alleged victim’s “friends” (from what I can gather, they’d never really hung out with her before or after), state that she didn’t remember anything bad happening the next day, nor did she say she had been raped. Well, obviously!! This is yet another nonsense point. She herself admitted that she would not have known what had happened to her, had she not seen the tape. As the girls stated, her memory “seemed foggy, but it wasn’t any foggier than any other time she’d been drinking and didn’t know what she had done.” Okay then. That fits perfectly with the claim that she was so intoxicated as to be black-out drunk, with no memory of the night’s events! Also, if she had been too intoxicated to remember what happened, how could she also simultaneously have been alert, aware, and providing consent? You can’t have it both ways! It should also be noted that one week after the first jury was hung, and a mistrial declared, Greg Haidl was again arrested, this time for the statutory rape of a different sixteen year-old girl. The girl said she consented to the sex, but that’s what statutory rape is. It’s consensual sex with an underaged person. In the state of California, at the time, the age of consent was eighteen. Therefore, a sixteen year-old cannot legally consent to sex with a person who is eighteen years of age or older. Greg was nineteen at the time, and it must have occurred either during the trial proceedings or during the week after the mistrial! I don’t know whether or not he was out on bail during the trial. What’s interesting about this, is that California just recently made it legal for a person as old as twenty-four to have consensual sex with a person as young as fourteen!!! Essentially, they legalized pedophilia. Yet, they still claim the age of consent in the state of California is eighteen.

Drugged? That’s not accurate. She was drunk of her own volition. No one drugged her, and there were no drugs involved, unless it was weed, but I’ve never heard that mentioned, and again, it would have been voluntary.

They were tried twice. In the first jury it was 11:1 to aquit all three boys. It's impossible to know what happened. Three teen boys & her got very drunk and all made bad choices. But, some say the video shows she was she a participant, others say a victim. Two trials over 3 years. The video was shocking to most adults. But, now just ten years later, teens can use internet sites like Omegle, Chat Roulette, etc, to view or interact in sexual things with anonymous teens or adults all around the world. Our ability to prosecute across States, and Countries is probably near zero. We don't even know if such "participation" is forced sex slavery. Our kids are less safe than ever.
