This was magnificent, but it feels like Inquisition was slightly better regarding the plot and circumstances of your allies, and Varric. I'm certain they would have loved this team.

I do plan to do a review video but in case people wonder (or read my comments on others videos) : I don't hate The Veilguard but I am disappointed at the state of dragon age and the game we could have gotten had it not gone through 10 years of development hell. That said, there are scenes in this game I do enjoy and the combat I thought was fun. As a game on it's own, it's fine. As a Dragon Age game, it's a disappointment.

You know part of me wonder if he was supposed to be companion since he got his own ending…or it had endings based on quest result. Maybe initially started out as CRPG with Asian theme (probably Kara-Tur since DnD license) before changing to martial arts gameplay (which his character possible gameplay as sniper wasn’t accounted for or doesn’t fit). For some reason, I had idea of either sequel or expansion character being mix of Pillars of Eternity Eder and “Anjin San” from Shogun, but as contrast to John Cleese (like not as educated but open minded to learn local culture)…maybe special companion banter between him and John Cleese.

But if it was a girl, everyone would lose their fucking minds

I wish games like this got fully voiced and it would be just optional to play with a silent protagonist. I get immersed so much more when i hear my character talk.

Why is Kith so hostile to Lazel but talks respectfully to your character?

I've always theorized that the game pushed you to play either Urge or Githyanki. This confirms it. Story is heavily tied to the race. Some of the best stuff you get grant benefits only to those who are Gith and I feel like your Tav character feels more involved with the story if they're either Gith or Urge.

Soo cool acting, and the rest of the time the character is fucking silence, Larian says while the game was in early access that all the responses and the things that you tell will be voice acted, but like the Baldur Gate city or the Tutorial, a lot of things they scrapped with out telling anithing. I like the game and i buy it in early access but dame, with the fame that they won and the game is unfinished. Like with the evil endings, that they add then later when the game was suppoust to be completed. Larian always makes the same, a shit version and then a complete version, but like now they don´t gona do more D and D, we don´t have the cool version and 0 dlcs.

I always knew that scene in “Infinity War” with Thanos seeing young Gamora reminded me of something. Here I am all these years later watching 4:47 and realizing.

I love this game, i use to kill my followers, enslave the death hand and the dragon water and kill all the npc that i could.

Gith arrogance is so irritating especially with how easy they drop, like flies.

7 patches in yet Tav voice has never been worked on. The only disspointing thing about this game.

This scene always bothered me. I get that everyone isn't a hero, but retreating on the bridge is just as much death as charging into battle with the Gith. I'd take my chances pushing past the gith with my blade in my hand instead of burning and falling to my death, if the flames didn't kill me first. At the VERY least, the Gith would respect my choice to die fighting lmao
