Late to this but like many groups before, including women, you have to fight and lobby for your rights to your own spaces - you do not have the right, nor ever did, have the rights to use women only spaces- you merely took them and flinch now at women saying no. Same sex spaces have come about for many reasons, from a female choir to a ladies who lunch group, to a girls dormitory to a women only role caring for vulnerable women. They’re not all for safety, some are camaraderie, support, privacy, dignity and yes some are child protection and women’s safety - Why do you assume you have a right to these spaces? You never did so stop suggesting women did something to you, it is you who are trying to erode women’s rights - you’re not a biological women. You have the same human rights to jobs, protection, names, adoption and marriage … but the sex based rights are not for men to take from women. Lobby for better facilities, open sports categories, mixed or trans spaces and clubs - stop bullying women.

I glad that she can has found that the Green Party to be much more democratic than the Labour Party. That is particularly the case if you live in England where the only other democratic party is the Liberal Democrats. We are fortunate in Wales to have Plaid Cymru, which is not only a green and liberal group but we are now the main opposition party in the Senedd. I hope the Green movement in Wales supports campaigning for a progressive majority led by Plaid Cymru at the next Senedd election in 2027. This to prevent the Labour party further selling Wales out to the English Tories and their monopolised version of capitalism. I just don't know why some Trade Unions can still affiliate to a Labour party to the exclusion of all other progressive political parties including my own: Plaid Cymru. Trade Union political groups should be open to all progressive members.

Just to say that it is true that Ken Livingstone was rejected and while I don't think it was a case of Greens joining in the witchunt against Corbyn, Elise Benjamin kept making allegations against him & apparently, against JVL too on social media. Oddly, she was and possibly still is in JfJfP but her position on antisemitism has changed. It does sound like the disciplinary process isn't as bad as the Labour Party, and in the Greens, it is safe to be a supporter of Palestine, BUT, there is a witchunt against gender critical members & they are being discriminated against in a weaponised disciplinary system. I am a victim of the no fault suspension issued by GPRC as I've been suspended for two years when I haven't even had my hearing, and members of GPRC are whipped to vote without ever having heard my defence. Meanwhile, the former Complaints Manager who fabricated a complaint against me to get me excluded from conference has never been held to account (I've been suspended for exposing him). I'm sure you'll be ok unless you speak out for women's sex based rights. The party has some very good councillors and nice local parties, but there is corruption at the top. It never used to be like this. Maybe after Shahrar's court case is over, things will change for the better.
