A lot of people pointed that out, I think it’s got to do with the I frames locking the damage you take to 1 if you take damage during your invincibility window but I’m not too sure. It’s a convenient way of setting up fury though!

The gimmick of the run was using fury which only affects the nail :) but I agree spells are definitely better!

The fact that over half of the hits he took were from *Markoth* is enough to prove that this Pantheon would not even be _that_ hard if it wasn't for him (and the Absolute Radiance, but that's not even skill, sometimes it's sheer luck).

I’m not fully confident in this answer, but I’m guessing the overcharmed effect dealt 2 and then the I frames I had while falling into the void negated it to 1. Not sure why the game works like that to be completely honest but it sure makes setting up fury a lot easier

There's a percentage change you only take one heart of damage, plus I think it leaves you with one a lot of the time

It’s the Mr mushroom cutscene unlocked by (spoilers) Talking to him at various locations with spore shroom equipped. It doesn’t affect the ending, I think it’s supposed to be an Easter egg to older team cherry games.

I wouldn't say the charm sucks, it's just in a very awkward state of being too annoying to utilize for new players while also not granting much reward at higher level play. It's damage to soul ratio is actually higher than Vengeful Spirit, Shade Soul and Desolate dive. Being somewhat on par with Howling Wraiths. It provides passable passive damage as long as you can babysit the soul drain, and I'd say it's best use is with a very patient playstyle that focuses more on dodging. If you don't get hit, you don't have to use soul to heal. Simple as that.
