This is great! I grew up a few minutes away from the Blue Bell plant in Brenham, TX, and went to church with many of their employees. Toured it many times because my dad worked right down the street from Blue Bell, so this was a really nostalgic interview to see. Thanks for setting that up, and we hope to see Preston back in the saddle soon!

I really feel like this sermon helped me so much with growing with God, I go to the beulah campus normally, and have been so busy and not able to go to church lately, and have really struggled feeling distant in God and I jsut felt so close with Him recently after starting to take private time with him, I have seen such a shift in my mood, and even some of my prayers that are huge have been getting answered, and I really enjoyed this sermon.

Brother Derrick, great job! Thank you for reminding me that it’s only thru surrendering each day to God that molds us into an obedient spirit! Your admission of having tried to solve the difficult struggles in life on your own is so relatable because it’s so easy to treat God like the elf on the shelf and bring him down when I have exhausted all options. As we grow we find so much early reward in asking for His guidance at the start of each day! Thanks again for sharing your heart and faith walk with us. Russ McNair

Bro Rob, what a powerful and impactful introduction to listening! We all need this reminder on a routine basis as we consume God’s word to not just satisfy a task but to allow that voice to permeate our daily walk with our Lord. It Is apparent how the Holy Spirit has given you the ability to discern the method and message God wants each of us to learn so that we can better tune into His unique frequency! Thank you brother for sharing, Russ Mcnair

Pastor Mike, your conviction and belief certainly came through your lesson! Your compassion reflects a conviction that probably comes from your experience in sharing your faith with young sailors and new Christians as a soul winner and an effective LPO! I especially liked your reference to having a renewed “heart posture” which is only developed through a contrite heart and having a faithful walk with our savior! Thank you Brother, Russ McNair

Thank you Craig for such a clear and sobering challenge for each of us the return to the adoration God and our spouses so richly deserves! One of my friends has been saying we need to be more focused on sincere repentance as believers, your cast really hits this home! Also, I recently read in Numbers 6:1-3 God’s original design is to focus the light from the lamp stands so that the pattern perfectly adorns His temple! Thanks again brother, Russ McNair

Bro Jacob, what a compelling topic which is so applicable to the growing malaise among the body about giving true to worship to our gracious Lord! The comment that most members are more alive at a tailgate party or in the bleachers at a Friday night football game than they are at church on Sunday is an indictment for all Christians! We are overdue on taking the next steps for this critical reflective study and internal examination season. Thanks MP Staff, Russ McNair

Great video. The problem with the exclusive view is that ( to be fully intellectually honest with it) you would exclude children and the mentally handicapped. The problem with the inclusive view is that Christ revealed in part would be an idol just like Mormonism and Islam believe in Christ in part. Or for that matter, even "progressive" churches who claim to believe in Christ but believe in a culturally Marxist, hedonistic perversion of Christ. The problem with the question being asked is really of authority. We do not have the authority to act as final judge so we cannot understand fully (as God who is judge understands fully.) What is clear is that we are supposed to act as if the exclusionary view applies to all unbelievers and go out and make disciples of the world as if eternity depends on it because it does. Adding on the Catholic and Calvinist views, even if either were true, acting as if they are would only serve to hamper our motivations to carry out the Great Commission. So regardless of what God Himself judges, our responsibility is to bring them to him, but not to stand before them and judge them into eternity. So I don't think it is necessarily a question for us to understand based on our lack of authority. I certainly am not sinless enough to cast the eternal stone.

Relating to 30:26 in the episode, the question I've always had is whether or not the angels left footprints before or after they appeared to the servant. That would imply some mechanism of switching from something without mass to something with mass. Ironically, this mechanism is something that modern physics is struggling to answer as well.

Only problem, this is not historically what was believed of baptism in the Christian tradition. Baptism removes original sin. Just saying.
@kevincook15899 ай бұрын
We ask God to sanctify us AFTER we are saved. He then fills us with his spirit. This is called sanctification. This is when God removes the carnal nature we all were born with because of Adam's sin. We are then left with just a Divine nature. That's how we receive the added power Jesus told his disciples about in Acts 1:8. When we repent with Godly sorrow God removes or forgives our committed sins. When we are sanctified God removes our inherited sin( nature).

@@captainnoobface1124 look at the writings of St. Augustine, the father of the “original sin” doctrine. All you need to do is look up what original sin is. Then, after St. Augustine, many others expanded on the doctrine. Even Luther, who was a monk from the Augustinian order, affirmed original sin post-reformation in his baptism theology. Look at the historial writings of what the early church believed about basic Christian theology and come to your own conclusion. Maybe you’ll see what I see

@@kevincook1589 I’d look at my response comment to the other guy. Some of the vocab you have is misdefined or made up. There has been long established tradition about what baptism not only signifies but actually does in us.

@@voxsacrachoir my response is based on the Bible not tradition. I'm not part of the Baptist religion I'm Church of God. That's what they teach and God witnesses to my soul they are correct. Just sharing my thoughts.
