I think Grigorian is thinking the same thing. He said that ONE is not giving him many fights, and he (just like Allazov) wants to be kept active. Grigorian said that he may switch to Muay Thai but I don't think it will suit his style, as he often blocks a lot of shots with his guard and the big gloves, which won't work with the smaller gloves. Both of these fighters want to fight regularly, not twice a year.

I heard ONE were trying to make him fight muaythai rules and I don't think he wants to. Unlike MuayThai fighters who compete under both muaythai and kickboxing, top kickboxers tend to only stick with kickboxing. I think if he competed under muaythai rules it could demolish the whole "best striker in the world" argument as muaythai is a more complete form of striking with elbows and clinching is allowed. That's why I respect guys like Superlek even more. Their willing to leave their comfort zone.

You could also argue that boxers should expand their horizons and go into kickboxing or MMA. But virtually none of them do because they're masters in their domain. Although, iif Allazov is in Thailand, he may not have any other options but to switch to Muay Thai, in order to get fights.

Don’t really like the way One is going with MMA a lot of their fighters are leaving and it seems like you said there divisions are being held up with inactivity or uncertainty. Not to mention there are a lot of rumors that One are in the red and may go out of business which is scary considering where we are considering the Bellator-PFL acquisition!

It's a very big hit. I'm sure Williams vs Superlek will be fun but losing that fight and Malykhin vs Bhullar is very rough. Hopefully they get it rescheduled as a Muay Thai fight.

Yan checked out after that O'Malley decision. He's gonna fight out his contract and roll. He only showed up to get paid, and that's all he cares about these days. He knows he won't be a champ anymore, so he's purposely throwing fights to get paid. Plus, one of his sponsors is a betting company PariMatch. How convenient lol. His Russian fans have exposed him and turned on him.
