My name is Tony and i was honored to have hired Steve when he was just 18 , it was myself along with Lee Titus , TJ Beck we played a setdown gig for about 8 months at Bronco Billy's in Harker Heights , Tx. Steve was a super picker then and has only seasoned .

I'm a Limey, but no-one loves Steve's playing and tone more than me. This medley is seriously superb and whether some of it was played on C6 is irrelevant, its beautiful. Packington - why come out with the nonsense about Hitler and stuff? Please read your history books again. My father fought in WW2 so please don't start bad mouthing Brits just because one clown says something inane about Steve. I'll say this just once as I know Steve and Donna - Steve is one of the greatest pedal steel players of all time and even Buddy Emmons said the same thing a few years ago.

It was a pretty 'rough' gospel medley, that seriously lacked melody, and from halfway through the medley the rest of the alleged gospel tune was all 'jazzed up'. So, if Steve Palousek established himself as one of the 'premier' pedal steel guitarists in the World, why would Steve Palousek resort to 'jazzing up' his alleged gospel medley half way through his pedal steel guitar stint? !!!

Your kidding right??.Lets a$$ume your a limey...you guys couldn't even beat Hitler and your running one of my fellow americans down playing a gospel song ...no offense but the playing on your channel pales compared to this....Not anyones fan but why do brits always have to run others down?.

James Seddon James this guy is a genius. It might be that his playing is above the listening capabilities of an untrained musical ear. He could play simple if he wanted. But I enjoy his creative side. If you are looking for someone that can play simple, there a plenty of posts of that on KZbin. I for one appreciate his great talent. And he is blessed with with that and the work ethic to rise above the rest.

Steve is the most solid steel players in the business, Of course at the young age he learned so much from his greatest buddies. Big E and Jeff, He is no doubt one of the best players of his time and he puts all the feeling from his Heart.......Great job Steve, Your old buddy from up the road, I- 35, and he is also a great engineer in the his studio, Keep it up Steve,
