i did not watch all, just part of it. kids here. i have been traveling to thailand for 18yrs. i lived here for 4yrs. let me be direct here. i literally have been to these hospitals dozens and dozens fo times: there are about 5 IJC hospitals in Bangkok. since they did not mention it IJC (international joint commission) is a Canadian-US corporation that certifies the levels of foreign hospitals. IF you have an IJC certification. informally and formally, it means that hospital is western standards. training, equipment, education ect. both bangkok and bumrungrad are ICJ. there are like 3 others. for surgery OR plastic surgery ect they are US level but at a fraction of the cost. all the better for NON plastic surgery if you have international insurance, as i do (CIGNA). for an accident you are in very good hands. even a stent, ect. some issues come up If you are doing the consultation thing. some hosptials will kind of a bit "rush you through" but IF you explain and on to this you can correc this. it is asian effecieny thing. remember GOD forbid though something goes wrong in surgery ect. do not think the liability is the same as the US. it is not. not even close and you are a foreigner. they are not cutting 1million$ check to you no matter what went wrong. that is one reason the cost are less. less insurance they pay hence lawyers are not stuffing money in their pockets in the name of "justice" most like this video do not talk about that. it just must be understood. living here (like me) gives you that advantage and such. hope this helps.

Hey there can you share the info of the bus you took from Sendai to the monkey park please?
@onebagoneworld3 ай бұрын
Hey! Absolutely. If you come from sendai you actually need to take the Shinkansen which takes about ~2.5 hours to Nagano. Then from Nagano station go out the east exit and look for the Express bus. You can find it at station #23. There were people outside with a big sign and a table selling the bus tickets. It can be a daytrip, but it will be a LONG day. I highly recommend spending the night before so you can get to the park early in the morning. Our bus was SLAMMED on the way back to Nagano with people standing the whole time. After that I don't know if I would trek back to Sendai but would probably continue on to Kanazawa area. More info on the busses: www.snowmonkeyresorts.com/access/nagaden-express-bus-timetable/

@onebagoneworld3 ай бұрын
@@borderlessniko no problem! The sling review will be a bit delayed. We got it in after we filmed the bag reviews so we are going to do it as part of a slings roundup later in the year. I have the 7l in front of me if you have any questions that I can answer for you! It's large, has a ton of pockets, padded back panels, stabilizer strap comes included, quick access pocket on the front, and another mesh zippered pocket inside. There are 3 mesh pockets on top of the zipper interior pocket and that's about it for the organization. The strap can be removed and then tucked behind the back padding and you can then use the two lash points to hook it to the front or back of the bag with the cords I show in the video. If you have something big like a tripod or a jacket there are two kangaroo cords at the bottom you could use.

i assume the linen ones were the ones that performed the best in terms of odor management, correct?
@onebagoneworld3 ай бұрын
Actually I would say wool did the best in terms of odor management. Linen IMO picks up smells easier than wool, but the breathability is worth that trade off.
@D1L03 ай бұрын
@@onebagoneworld yeah i forgot to specify besides wool which is obviously the best in that department. Problem is i don't really feel like wearing it in hot climates. I'm from Italy and during summer we get temperatures that are often higher than 30 °c, i think that wool performs best below 30 and probably above 40, where you effectively need insulation from a temperature that is higher than your body temperature...
@onebagoneworld3 ай бұрын
@@D1L0 same! Italy is what inspired me to make this video actually haha. It was SO hot there over the summer that I sweat through my clothes every single day. That is where I bought one of my first linen shirts and it was the only thing that helped me make it through our time there. The linen definitely out performs all the other shirts in terms of smell for that temperature range and why it will always be in my one bag from here on.

The bag is great for sure, but a "Full Review" huh? You even got the tags on man, you obviously haven't used it at all, like not even once ... smh. Maybe call it a "first impressions" or "overview" but don't think the viewer is a fool and won't notice these things. And please just stop advertising the stuff you have put inside! I get it - you love them, you use them, people occasionally ask about them and you have the affiliate links ... BUT I am here for the bag, ain't I? It's so jarring and annoying every time you take something out and praise it for like 20-30 seconds. I skipped half of video as a result, and it should have been half as long in the first place. If you are gonna go after the affiliate $$$ so aggressively, just make a separate video every now and then to talk about those. Hope you will be able to take this as constructive criticism. 9 out of 10 channels do this kind of stuff and come off as very insincere. Just check out bag subs on reddit and you'll see how fed up everyone is with such dishonest "reviews". Do things the right way instead and viewers will definitely appreciate it and come to trust you, probably earning you more money in the long run as well.

I've never gone to cold climate countries before. How would you plan if you were to go to a country in winter that temperature can goes down to sub freezing, like below -0C? What clothes would you bring in your one bag?
@onebagoneworld4 ай бұрын
As long as you are JUST going to cold that is doable! Packing for all climates is where onebag gets very tough. My favorite outfit at that jacket would be uniqlo heattech ultrawarm gear paired with an arcteryx cerium jacket. Maybe throw a midweight fleece in between or a light outer shell/rain jacket on top to protect it from heavy snow. Then you want some thicker pants, so probably the western rise diversion or the outlier strong dungarees would be my go to. For boots i'd grab the lems boulder boot with some thick wool socks and you would be good to go! Pack merino gloves/hat for the rest of your extremeties too! We went to sapporo, japan in winter on this trip and I had the Western Rise airloft v2 jacket. That + the above base layers were ok but I definitely had to duck inside every now and again. my biggest issue was footwear as I only had my sneakers with me.
