hey friend, the joystick and the dpad are two differentt things, make sure you configure something else to be the dpad since the quest doesn't have enough buttons.

ATTENTION at the part where you take apart the grip don’t forget to remove 3 screws they are under the sticker in the battery compartment, and just make sure all connectors are connected properly

I found it easier to get to the motherboard screw by removing the trigger. It is held in place by a pin, which the t5 screwdriver is just the right size to punch out. Be sure to punch it out to the left if you do, so it does not hit the ribbon cable on its right.

Just wanted to say thank you. I followed your instructions, and was able to replace my son's thumb sticks. He went from not being able to play at all, to just having a hair of drift.

Using the assassin in sneak mode (using sneak card on him first) is super useful when teleporting to the door or chests to avoid monster surprise

Get on quest 2 at your own risk, it’s laggy enough that it’s hard to exit the game, but for some reason not laggy when playing

What did you use on the trigger to stop it potentially scratching your controller ?

The metal pin that holds the trigger into place is very easy to push out. Do this and you can pull the trigger right off, making it very easy to access the two screws that are under it instead of having to angle the driver and stripping out the screws in the process.

Is enforcer better than protube? Specially better than Provolver ? I’m thinking about buying one of them ? Because provolver is much more expensive

The sholder stock looks a bit too low. It seems like it would slide off your shoulder very easily. Is there any way to adjust it to be aligned with the pistol part of the unit?

You never tested the rifle mode and to be fair that's where most vr stocks fail. Its so hard to reload when you cant see what your doing.

I did my best to unscrew the top screws. I even used different bits and a ratchet but nothing worked. Plus, the ring didn't even move when I pressed the little button I tried to remove the ring with the tool given in the kit but apart from damaging the plastic, nothing could be done.
