Test the brakes, and make sure you have atleast 2 reliable ways to cut off power easily like a toggle switch. Ive seen a few people make homemade race cars like this and the throttle gets stuck wide open with no way of shutting it off or the brakes get worn out. Be safe

Ive just seen you making your engine mounts. Just a word of warning, you will get a corrosive action between the aluminum and the steel on your rear engine brackets. It would be worth making a steel bush the correct size for your 12mm bolts otherwise you may find you cant get the bolts out. Only a thought,,
