Это ужасно... С таким остервенением кидаться на скрипку... 10 секунд прослушивания - и ощущение тяжелой болезни. Не знаю какая польза от такой музыки

My favorite of Book 2 is #12, what I think of as the "Don't Go Back to Sleep" one, since it seems to draw on that movement from Monsters of Grace. It mixes everything I love about early Glass with his later harmonic freedom, and its 2 against 3 is especially seductive. Brilliant playing across the boards. Brava!

The 3rd movement I heard it for the first time a few months ago in the German Netflix series of "Dark" of which I thought that just cuz how it sounded in a certain part... that it was by a Viking band or group like either "Heilung" or "SKÁLD" or "Wardruna", but till now on "August 2" at night past "8:45" very surprisingly that it by this outstanding ensemble group of which they're from the country that I was born in; and not even by a Nordic band or group.

The part at "5:34" is used for suspense buildup in movies and TV shows.

Love this music and it's played here with the verve its virtuoso moments require and the heart its meditative passages beg for. Wonderful video! Thanks to all concerned especially Ms. Chow.

Truly astounding. Amazing composition of course but this group is truly world class. I would rate them way above Manhattan Transfer or Idea of North or Voces 8. Let me at the score, I want to have a go!

I'd heard this recording years ago and loved it. Listening once again, I realize that what I find very exciting is a certain energy I usually find lacking in the typically overpolished and somewhat bland NYC-style performances. Bravi!

I believe this is Caroline Shaw's first piece that she published, maybe also the first piece she composed. Whatever the case, I am honored to hear it as a lover of contemporary music, aspiring composer myself, and knowing where she went from here.
