I read that his first screen test was used for years by universal as an example of bad acting. I found it here to see if I would agree. It wasn’t masterpiece theater by any stretch but I’ve seen way worse. Nicholas Cage in any movie for example…. Or Steven Sagal in everything😏

WOW so much misogyny is these old movies ,yelling at women ,throwing them around ,cheating then gaslighting and treating them like shit no wonder I ended up not understanding the difference between love and abuse

Spoiler Alert!! Best comedy I've ever seen! The semi-naked lady shooting across the table in the kitchen-- OMG. I know I should respect the danger and devastation but I just can't stop laughing- and yes Mia ejected from the ambulance-- classic. But the ending-- wow! "Oh here's some champagne-- what shall we celebrate?-- your mother's gruesome death- or the other 900 fatalities?" David: "I am responsible for this disaster." Mia: "Oh David, I love you!" David: "I know". Mia: "Well, I've gotta go now, bye." Cut to her exit to the cab that mysteriously showed up. Hahaha! And somebody got PAID to write this???

It's so hard to protect young very good looking sons from predators like the officer who first went after 18 year old Hudson ( who loved a girlfriend at the time) when he joined the military. I try my best to protect my own son whom relatives state looks like a young John F Kennedy Jr. Since he was old enough to walk, I have caught intense stares from women and men when in stores, elevators, restaurants or any public place. Many commented that he was georgeous or beautiful, but others just stared in what was not a very wholesome way. As he grew older into his teens our family had a health club membership, so we'd often go together. I was very uncomfortable with the well built men, probably in their 30's-50's who would make a habit of working on machines next to him in order to start a conversation and build a relationship. I didn't want to pry as he was a teen by then, but I did ask, and he mentioned that in so many words he had to tell them, "Thanks, but no thanks." I'm glad he isn't in the military and wasnt forced to acsquisend to something that he had no intention of doing in the first place that would change his life forever.

I didn't realize that the truly wonderful song that SDJr sings, "It Ain't Necessarily So" comes from Porgy & Bess (1935). Along with the song "Summertime, and the living is easy"... . also from Porgy & Bess, is amazingly well written, and has that wonderfully timeless quality, and my all time favorite. Ella Fitzgeraldother did the best rendition in my opinion. Thanks so much for uploading this Gem (and thanks Revlon)
