So it's constantly running? Like, even when you're dipping into your inks? Like, do you always have to be mindful of your needle hitting the bottom of your ink caps to prevent the needle from getting bent?

Bishop is the best running, or functioning, Vlad blad is ok, works well but gets inconsistent after a few months. Cheyenne is the best quality, but doesn’t have the same finesse, or feel as the wand. I have a Kwadron machine along with many others. But I haven’t tattooed with them yet. I agree that pen machines definitely give you the advantage of being able too switch out different needle configurations in abundance. Coil machines are superior. Just a pain in the ass to set up several, and maintain them. Not to forgiving on your joints either.

No wonder they catastrophically fail, 10.5 to 11v. That's definitely the highest I've ever heard, you must have a crazy fast hand. What's the max on it, 12v?

I really appreciate your hones review! I am looking to learn to tattoo and would love a suggestion for a beginner trying to do research. I am a detailed artist looking to work with both color and shading. I tend to lean towards a pen but would love a suggestion for what to purchase as my first machine.

Thank you so much for this review! I’ve been on the fence about getting one of these for some time now due to the “tilt voltage range”. I’ve also been told that you HAVE to autoclave the machine bc just wrapping it alone does not keep it sanitary, is this true or have you found it to be true after you’ve used it? Again, this was told to me so I’m not sure how true that is. Hope to hear from you and thanks again for you information! Great video!!!🎉

So is it possible that the mediocre performance of an expensive machine caused you to adress shortcomings in your tattooing that you didn't notice with a non-problematic machine. If this is the case and you went ahead and addressed those issues/shortcommings (which we all have to do to become better artist/technicians) it could be that a slightly inferior or inadequatley superior machine cause you to become a better tattooist because of your personal discipline and your desire to give a $1000 a chance to proove it's worth. Just a suggestion. Bias works both ways believe you me I have given a heaping helping of second and third chances that never panned out. It is in the doing sometimes and not just in the getting er done. Peace, don't cut yourself short.

I hear that whirring noise even when I am not tattooing, either that or frogs and crickets....ahhh tinnitus.....Reminds me of a buddy who would ask strangers, "Pardon me, do the voices in my head bother you?" What a way to start a conversation.

Heyo, thanks for the review, I m looking into some pen guns, never used before, I m always looking into the cheapest and the most expensive ones and also I check as many reviews as possible before buying. Some products are much cheaper than others, amd sometimes even better or slightly less better or much worse, that is in general, but I guess when in comes to this gun, I might skip it. Have u been testing a ego pen gun? Price is same as this one and wasn t sure which one is better.If Ego sucks also, I ll kill my grandma, take her money and buy a cheyenne in the end 😂

You run a 9V motor over 12V for a thousand hours and it’s the machine’s fault? WTF?!
@anthonyjenkins33352 жыл бұрын
Lol, ok so a couple things, for starters the Sol Nova was a 3 watt dc motor rated for a running range of 5-12.6 volts so I’m not sure what you mean by “9v motor” but that makes no sense. Second it’s been a while since I recorded this but I’m not sure I ever blamed the machine, simply reporting what happened.

Mad how we all work different hey.. for colour, you like to crank it up.. as where i slow it down.. yet in slowing it down, ironically, it speeds me up.. lil longer in the skin and saturated better.. but for blends I would run a lil faster. Great video Anthony.. as always.. Have you tried the bishop wand packer yet
