Hey andrew thanks for the app besides the noise gate can you add noise reduction to the app please so when we record we get clear sound at least something automic noise reduction.

Is there any new content coming for flip? It feels kind of abandoned, new effects were promised as well as some other functions? As far as I can see nothing really new has been added... Its such a fun app, but could really need some more things to play with, and at that, more special stuff. Thanks regardless for making such a fun tool!

I have a question for the developers: is it possible to change or set the time signature for a whole project or individual patterns? I like to mess with 6/8, 7/8 and such. Is that an option in the current version of Flip sampler?

Well funny enough i knew about Flip when you first presented it ...yet i completely forgot about it 😂..happy that I got back to it..Amazingly build . Just a question would it possible to add the feature of chord creation as Paul the Music man did back in the days when he developed Music Studio (my old time favourite app of the Ipad music production legacy ) I will sure buy Flip and let it inspire me to create new songs . Looking forward receiving and reading your reply . Greetings from out of Finland .😎💚👌

No midi sync option for Android version yet? It receives note and CC data but no MIDI sync data - overall the option is even missing in the menu :(Tried with different devices, but the result is the same - only receives CC messages, but no MIDI sync. is it working just for iOS?

I'd love to be able to sync this with loopy pro, and I can with ableton sync, but I can't mix between the apps. This app, aswell as ableton note, will quiet loopy pro if they are running concurrently on my device :(

Yoo Im sad about the sample chopping on here I don’t quite understand how to duplicate a loop from one pad to another even. But I really wish there was a simple chopping feature of any kind, like the newer mpc’s style or even something like koala would be nice. If it is possible a dedicated tutorial would be appreciated as well 🫡❤️

copy paste using the highest note seems unnecessarily complex for the mental model, it would make more sense, intuitively, to use the first/leftmost note of the selection, making the pasted notes appear right at your fingertip.

Yes, nice sampler, but strange enough when my iPad did a update, the Flip app wanted also a update, and then a strange thing happened, the appupdate asked a old e-mailadres,Nothing did go as planned. Only thing to do,is buy app again.I don’t wanted to give another 18 euro,s. So hopefully Flip will come with a solution 😢

There needs to be some kind of automation for the pattern arrangements to create transitions like a brief fade in of the next pattern. It would also be much easier to swipe up and down on a pattern to increase the count of how often it loops before transitioning to the next pattern instead of duplicating it. Also the "performance" view lacks an indicator of what pattern is currently played from the arrangement. That makes it difficult to know when to play with the sliders.

Found another way to import sounds to Flip. Flip uses the download folder to export as default,but the download folder can be used to import samples.This is on Android.

Interested in what sound card you’re using to get the audio sounding the way it does? Any external processing involved after the fact?

All videos on our channel either have the audio going directly to the audio recorder via the headphone out, or through a basic iRig interface and then to the audio recorder. No external processing.

You can resize the length of any individual track pattern by values as low as one sixteenth note

If you tap the track number at the top left of the piano roll (colored square with a number in it) you can quickly switch which track you’re looking at. We thought this would be better than trying to display multiple channels of MIDI on a phone.

@@flipsampler Thank you for answering. Koala Sampler does it and it makes the workflow much faster, so I don't see why it wouldn't work. Give us some more samples ;)
