The fact people were mad at you for listening to juice proves in my opinion religion is not about acceptance and forgiveness but more about judging others

Typical missing the point from religious people reacting to this. I love it. Keep it up guys. Yall prove allot by doing so. The armchair psychological cadi on some one you've never met and know nothing about but saying they haven't truly searched for god. Cheffs kiss, no true scottsman. Love your true ignorance of your own faith. I love how many people yall will convert just being you. Have a magical day

I’m about to follow you just because of the things you said about juice and his music. You understand. If only you knew my story…. I might die tomorrow because of the decisions I make. But I can’t stop, I’m trying everything.

The thing about him overdosing is super sad and the reason he took drugs was to medicate himself from all the pain he had and he didn’t do drugs to hurt himself or to kill himself he took them to cover the way he truly felt about life 😢😢😢 R.I.P.

You can say you love your kid(s) more all you want, but if you do drugs and cause them pain then it is obvious you love the drugs more. Love doesn't harm...love is gentle, kind, compassion, patient. We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God, but we need to make sure we have a right view on things for personal growth and to have as wisdom to pass on. It is good to acknowledge you made a mistake and explain what God has taught you in that to help others to forgive and ask for forgiveness.

I can't imagine what it's like to go through drug addiction. But I've seen what it can do to a person. Many years ago, one of my uncles had a terrible rage attack, triggered by alcohol, it was one of the most horrific things I've ever experienced, he hit the walls, screaming like a maniac and a little later he fell to the floor and started convulsing. I was about 12 when that happened, and I clearly remember making a promise to myself, that I would never in my life consume alcohol or any other substances. I'm 31 now, and proud to say I've kept that promise.

God I don’t know why I keep watching this song, he’s like captured anxiety and depression because you’re anxious. Like every part of you physically and emotionally is trying to hold yourself together. Sometimes I wonder if the alternative is to not, and let yourself accept what ails you, and then you add this idea that if you do you’ll go “bananas” into the picture… crazy

I’ve got to side with the comment pinned. Addiction isn’t a disease, and it comes in many forms. Drugs, alcohol and tabacco, are three addictions that affect kids the most. Others are porn, foods, beverages that aren’t even adult, etc. but no, this is a song from the son’s perspective. Luckily, I’ve personally never went through any of this in my teenage years. My dad dumped me for alcohol, “I got in the way of it[drinking]”. Couldn’t stop raising a fist to me, and seeing other women. I’m gonna be blunt, sorry if it’s offensive, but stop blaming everything else. Drugs is a choice. I don’t care how you want to phrase it, it’s a literal choice. It’s a choice that affects everyone around you. It’s a selfish choice. The kid doesn’t see the adult perspective. They shouldn’t have to. Love is a choice you make every day when you wake up. And when you put someTHING over someONE, call it what you want, it’s not love. If I were to decide that I’m addicted to video games, and my wife just needs to cope with it, I love her but I’m going to go play games now, deal with your problems yourself, I’d be bashed, ridiculed, probably make headline news how loser my generation and how video games are a problem. Addiction is a choice, from the beginning to the end. There’s nothing left of the conversation. This video was really frustrating, because it seems like just a bunch of excuses were given as to why two children were neglected, allows me to see that parents these days won’t step up to the plate when there number is called. Everyone goes through pain. Everyone goes through trauma. Everyone. This young man, strikes me as someone who was trying to point out his feelings and how he felt, and most of the conversation was mom making excuses as to why she wouldn’t put down the pipe. There are countless stories that are shared of folks putting it down and putting their kids first, not making excuses to keep doing it. Sorry. This is a blunt comment, but it needs said. Let the young man get his feelings out.

I have to disagree with the statement on how you cant fault your parents when you know that they went through the same thing when they were a kid. Both my sister and I were in a really abusive household growing up. For 12 years, it was primarily physical abuse, resulting in days where we couldnt go to school. And then from that point to the day we moved out, it was primarily emotional abuse. With our dad always making us question ourselves and our self worth. Along with all this going on we moved every year, and we were constantly reminded that we had no one to go to and even if we did tell someone that they wouldn't believe us because people liked him so much. (He was very good at manipulating people and putting on a good face in public) Anyway. There was a day when he excused his behavior by saying that his dad was was worse and that we were lucky to have him. That was when I was the most angry at him. Because having grown up that way. I know that i will NEVER treat another human the way he treated us. Let alone my future kids and spouse. A parent who grows up in that environment should never willingly put their own child through the same situation. Because you should know how truamitic and life ruining it can be. Long story short. I dont think it excuses the behavior. Learn from your pain and use the knowledge to ensure that those who come after you are better off. Sorry for my rant :( I really did enjoy the reaction, and I did not mean this in a "how dare you" type of way, simply felt the desire to share my perspective

Im a non believing former fentanyl addict.. you have to want to change for yourself.. god wont take an addiction from you. You have to be transparent in your mistakes. & being able to forgive yourself.. all it took was a phone call from my mom crying.. my priorities were twisted. An addiction isnt bigger than yourself.. you have to understand that you can overcome the addiction.. i did it for myself and for my family. I was a slave yes, but once you realize the damage the drug is doing.. admitting you have a problem, you can let go. You HAVE to have the strength yourself to get out. Glad you got clean, but dont give god all the credit for overcoming adversity. Youre the one who got clean! You did the work.

yep murder is somehow accepted as the norm now in the states. way too many issues. but if you have a country that has a first world "face" but in reality is worse that many many really poor, "shithole" countries. nothing gets done. and no i didnt mean shithóle in a bad way. thats was america doing.
