That headgasket will not seal without a very specific RA value on the head and block. You would be better off pulling the head back off and putting a stocker in it IMHO. Also, you do not lubricate the block side of the arp head studs. Don’t forget to put a little blob of RTV at the base of each front cam cap where it meets the head and the valvecover gasket has that sharp 90 or you’ll have a small oil leak there. Other than that, nice job. Always good to see more RB20 content on youtube!

Wondering, would it be better to power wash the motor before you work on it? Great channel. Inspiring!

Thank you! And we didn’t because we didn’t want to get grease all over the ground and in the grass… so we just wiped it over later on… 😃

I absolutely love getting new tools. I love seeing how excited you are to have really nice tools that sound good and are easier to use. It's such a joy to watch you even work on your car. Sally sounded bangin' while she was getting sideways. I truly wished I lived closer so I could hang out and lend a hand. Waiting to get a drift/rally car of my own. Thanks for the upload today.

I've heard OEM is preferred over plazmaman. Power band goes from mid range to top end. But does look super clean . Guess ylit come done to preference.

4 Celsius had to google it, wow 39 fahrenheit. You owned that course! Really enjoyed watching your skills, great work. Oh yeah and that ceramic spray stuff works amazing, could totally see a difference. I need some of that.
@dickdastardly81502 ай бұрын
Plazmaman looks amazing. Going to have greater integrity while allowing less turbulent air. Budget manifold might be able to be port matched but yeah those welds had bubble pits. Imo though, I love seeing bolts. I always change color to give color trim. Like stainless over black or bronze over aluminum, lot's of anodized or heat treated colors to choose as well.
@Mystical_Zeus2 ай бұрын
HELL YES! I look forward to watching your video before work. The Plazmaman manifold does look superior once you know what you're looking for. Some people would just buy it and throw it on but you know WHY they're different and why it matters. I love hat you're super knowledgeable about cars and I even learned something from you today. Hope your day goes well! I think if someone only wants mild power gains and wants looks the Chinese one is fine but someone like you who wants to push their car and keep everything super clean with even noticing weld consistency. Class A work Mika, you're making me jealous you don't live nearby XD. I don't even have a drift track. Hope to see another video soon :D

How much boost do you plan on running on that you plan on breaking throttle body manifold? Is this a fast and furious? No way in hell im paying 2k+ for that i can buy 2 engines
@dickdastardly81502 ай бұрын
Sally makes over 700 horses. Not sure about boost psi but well worth it.
