Hi I will in time, but its covered in my book, the origins of the Kaba, who built it and when, why it became important, and the many rival Kabas that existed during Muhammads time, who went on to destroy competition and retain the one (current), and why he did this due to his family's pagan connection to it etc.

Why are you being so deceptive this video? Do you consider BBC news and Ayatollah Khomeini to be Islamic authorities? At 8:10, where exactly do any of these sources mention r*pe or abuse? Or say that the woman is the devil? You're just using emotive language, inserting nonsense into the narrations. And at 11:35 when you quote Ibn Hajar, why do you leave out so much? The fact that he was uncertain of this opinion. And the fact that he was a faqi' in the Shafi'i madhab, and the Shafi'i madhab defines puberty at menstruation? And regarding 65:4, similarly, premenstrual is not synonymous with prepuberty. So why continue to say "prepubescent"? Also, as an answer to your question, can you explain how 21st century standards are a necessary moral criteria for all time? Can you also explain why abolishing young marriage leads to an increase in fornication and corruption in society, or why virtually all premodern religions and cultures consider young marriage to be moral? I thought it was for all times an obviously evil thing? At 30:20 you leave out that Jauniyya was already betrothed to the prophet (which is why the narration is listed under divorce), she wasn't some random woman. You also seem to ignore that there were other people with them in the lodging. Reaching out to comfort someone and then leaving when asked to is SA. This is just absurd, an argument in bad faith. Lol.

What is the inherent problem with Islam including elements of violence? Islam is a religion, and a wholistic ideology, that encompasses governance. Violence is a necessary part of governance, for example enforcing the law requires force, it's literally in the name. If the modern establishment and world order can use violence as a means to spread its ideology without that being an inherent moral issue, why cry about Islam?
@islamwhattheydonttellyou164
@islamwhattheydonttellyou164 Ай бұрын
I guess youll have no problem with Nazi Germany because what youre describing is not too dissimilar from fascism which is essentially Islam in a nutshell, it only has the veneer of tolerance and morality, however scratch slightly under the surface, a dangerous, imperialistic, dominating, violent, intolerant, masochistic, chauvinistic side becomes apparent. Speak as a Muslim, you may not have a problem, speak as a Non-Muslim, the problem becomes apparent. Here lies the problem as you speak from a Muslim lens. Even Muslims flee to Non-Muslim countries, rather live under Western Libertarian rules/laws rather than Sharia. Its just hypocrisy. Most people are not fooled.
@lurdkatmin3298
@lurdkatmin3298 Ай бұрын
@@islamwhattheydonttellyou164 The hypocrisy comes from non other than the people who attack Islam for its rules of war, yet have no problem defending what Israel is doing in Gazza. Or have no problem defending the American occupation of Muslim countries under the guise of spreading democracy, or the UN's sanctions (basically starving into submission) countries that disagree with liberalism. Your religion, modernity, spreads via the sword. Any ideological system of values spreads via the sword. Muslims flee to non Muslim countries because your religion tore up their nations in a far more brutalistic way jihaad with swords and spears ever did. Also note that you go on a tangent instead of answering my very simple argument. ANY ideology that encompasses governance WILL encompass violence. Enforcing the law requires FORCE. Unless you're an anarchist or a hippy your critique of Islam is hypocritical and irrational. “We went out to fight alongside the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and we passed by a slain woman whom the people had gathered around. They parted (to let the Prophet (ﷺ) through) and he said: ‘This (woman) was not one of those who were fighting.’ Then he said to a man: ‘Go to Khalid bin Walid and tell him that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) commands you: “Do not kill any children or women, or any (farm) laborer.’” (Sunan Ibn Majah 2842)

I find the narrative on how Muhammad got five times prayers during his Miraj ridiculous, that's one of my reasons leaving Islam aside from its violent teachings. I mean, how could the prophet Muhammad, on Moses' advice, negotiated with Allah to get discount from fifty all the way down to five? Like Muhammad and Moses knew better and outsmarted Allah. Allah The All-knowing didn't know what's best for His beloved ummah? The narrative is graded sahih makes it even more ridiculous.

More proof that Allah has no knowledge of science and a very warped view of human relationships. There was some uproar recently in Pakistan, if I recall correctly, where the supply of donated breastmilk at a hospital neo-natal unit was questioned when there were no records of the donors and worse yet, some batches of milk were mixed. Many people were genuinely concerned that some of those babies were now mahram and might be in trouble if they were to marry when they grew up. Apparently, they hadn't heard of the scholarly ruling about cups (or bottles).

I was a muslim and grew up in muslim family, in a muslim majority country. I remember when I was young we were always taught to see non muslim with some degree of suspicion and to put some distance. Although it's not outright hatred but still there's some barrier that separates muslim and non muslim. So we always look at non muslim as different, somewhat inferior in a way we muslim are the best ummah before Allah. Jihad, dying for the sake of Allah and Islam is encouraged, we were told many heroic stories of companions who died as martyr and muslim conquest of Arabia, Persia, all the way to Spain and Constantinople. Can't blame the IS, Taliban and all the radicals, they're just following the teachings.

My mother is an ex-Muslim, one of the main reasons she left Islam is because of misogynistic treatment among women and" scriptures" and "teachings" which mainly ‘revealed’ around the benefit of men. No matter how hard apologists trying to defend the scriptures, It is still disproved because of the many flaws and doubts amongst narratives which was being left as a result of a "man-made religion" as god or the prophet himself is perfect and will not create something that leaves humans in question. Even Quranic verses primarily addresses men, and well Muhammad... he came to serve himself and men primarily. May many more women and also men come out of this misogynistic religion, and see it for it actually is. Muslim apologists have no shame, thats why they defend it. They have mothers, wives and daughters, yet still justify Muhammad's actions. A disturbing trait amongst Muslims where they deify him to such an extent, they cannot see the truth, its sad really, but I'll keep plugging away. Stay safe. ❤

Thank you for responding. I'm wondering that blind devotion is a feature of religion, particularly in Islam, because religion exists because people believe in supernatural powers. That is also true for Muslims, who can defy Muhammad with the same level of devotion despite the fact that he is only a human being. Anything that appears immoral and inappropriate today is labelled as moral in Islam simply because it has anything to do with Muhammad, a human who proclaimed himself to be a prophet and told others that he is the best example of a human being even though we know he is not. The reality is that his morality would bring him into trouble in today's environment because everything he did was immoral and incompatible with modern civilisation. Anyone who is rational and wise enough would recognise how wrong Muhammad and Islam are, simply a cult founded for selfish gain.

With the advent of time, it takes from others and modifies still from others, once ideas are fused and standardised, it may be seem completely different from its starting point, but really its just a sum of many parts, there isnt anything in Islam that could not be traced to another earlier religion in some shape or form, im not just talking about Judaism and Christianity which it borrows heavily from, but also from Sabians as shown in this video, but also Arabian Paganism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, even Sumerian and Egyptian ideas.
