The wedding was a month before I was born and the holiday finished just a week prior to my arrival! So this footage is as old as me.

Happy days Julian. When England was a safe country. I have some 8mm film from around 1952 onwards, which I had transferred to DVD. I gave my father's clockwork Rollei camera and the Bell & Howell projector to the local film club, where no doubt it sits in a cupboard gathering dust.

I remember this race so well. It was so exciting. They were calling the Cambridge crew the first Boat Race crew that was approaching Olympic standard.

What a simple but beautifully put together video. I came across it quite by accident while looking for images of Coln St. Aldwyns after seeing a house for rent there, never before having heard of the place.

Loved watching this. When I was a boy (1970's) my family used to stay at The Towers when it was still an adventure holiday centre run by the residents Colin and Sue Goody. It's been massively refurbished since I last got a look inside!
