Having moved from the north of England to Guildford and other areas around London for 11 years. I can totally agree. I spent a lot of time in London and can confirm it is a cesspit for the poor and a stomping ground for the rich. Normal people are out priced and can barely afford housing and food without killing themselves woth 60+ hour weeks. Unless your parents bought their house in the 70s/80s for 20k and it’s now worth 1.8 million. The crime is mad, the people are stressed and it’s still going downhill from here. I’ve since moved back up north and I’ve never been happier. No more paying £1700 for a tiny 1 bed flat (including all bills) for meeeee!! ❤
