Its cringe worthy watching this press conference and philippa not on the panel, how embarrassing, how mortifying for you. The university's role in this discovery will forever be tainted. Shameful

I don't think you will get any doctor in America to give you this thorough examination. I had a cardiovascular examination and tests in mid 2024 just to make sure everything was in good working condition. The Dr was highly recommended. And I think he did a good job. However, it was not anything close to this. In America doctors prefer to put in through machines and charge you and your insurance arms and legs. American health care Systems are so corrupt and inefficient that it's laughable for some to think they are the best.

What does all this matter when you’re importing foreigners who don’t respect your history, your kings, your culture. Why excavate at all? You’re being overrun with violent third world immigrants who hate you.

I think if you can read Cornwall's books carrying your own theory of course but without prejudice you may well find like myself you would be very surprised at your conclusion. I had been interested for years, read many books on the various theories, concluded Charles Lechmere/Cross was the most likely suspect by far and.....realized I was almost definitely wrong and Sickert who had been an 'interesting' possibility to me previously but who I had largely discounted on what turned out to be totally spurious grounds of him being away in Europe...well he became prime suspect. In fact, beyond a suspect. I have virtually no doubt at all that Walter Sickert was the cruel, psychotic killer who took the lives of many innocent women. Because the pointers just kept on coming on top of the indisputable letter writing to the police. Patricia Cornwall is almost entirely responsible for changing my view and yet I entered into her work convinced the murderer was most likely Charles Lechmere/Cross. Turns out I was almost definitely wrong.

Omg, when they just started ripping that asphalt up without saw cutting it first to make nice straight linear cuts, it almost drove me to drink! Ugh, when excavating a trench which involves cutting through existing asphalt, please saw cut your outside edges of the trench first! This allows for straight digging, clean edges, and a more structurally sound finishing of repaired space. Also, its just neater and cleaner! Any Construction Manager and/or operator would know this!

So long do we have to wait to dig up graves around here? 1 yr? 10? Someone buried in 1880? UK can’t have all the fun.

He'd keel over again if he knew he was reburied with Anglican service 💀- a pretty pious man given a service from a heretical church born from the fact one of his successors couldn't keep it in his pants. Queen couldn't even bother to attend, nor was he buried with his wife

Am I they only one who thinks it’s odd that these people give themselves authority to dig up graves? If you or I tried it we would go to jail. Just seems odd, once they are buried, shouldn’t they be off limits to disturb?

I think the University wanted to minimize Langley's involvement as much as possible and to this day clearly denies they ever did so. It's true she'd odd and I think her obsession with Richard III is rather...eccentric, but I don't think the effort she, Ashdown-Hill and the rest of the Richard III Society did in both instigating, paying for and even doing the leg work in identify Anne of York's living decedents has been fully given its due acknowledgement by the academics and scientists who worked on the find. Langley has said some strange things over the years and I understand the more inflammatory and/or spiritual things she'd said probably rub academics the wrong way, but two things can be true at once. She can be problematic and still have been sidelined and not given credit where credit was due.

I've seen people remove the lids off these medieval lead coffins before and they're in clean suits and wearing respirators so they don't get lead poisoning and here these folks are just bumming it with latex gloves and some big ass shears.
