Hey, Loved this informative video🙌! Just wanted to throw this out there (totally fine if it's not a good fit!), but I'm a video editor and I sometimes help creators improve distribution by making their content a bit more snackable for viewers. Think catchy intros and outros, or even some engaging short clips! Would love to chat if you're interested.

Where do you find this? I realise the trichord thing last week, and this is the only video i found that is teaching this. I found it suprising that a such simple thing that simplifiate the comprehension of pantatonic is so unknown! The minor pantatonic is so just two minor trichord!

Yep - it can be found in many scales e.g. it's the 3rd to 4th notes of A flat major

Three notes tied that equals a dotted crotchet?
@DeborahSmithMusic
@DeborahSmithMusic 2 жыл бұрын
In this example it is a crotchet/quarter note tied to a quaver/eight note but you could say three quavers tied together equal a dotted crotchet yes.

Deborah can you please explain to me again the idea of rhythm set ? do you mean that if I have quarter note (one and ) I can replace it with two eighth notes or four sixteenth notes etc ?
@DeborahSmithMusic
@DeborahSmithMusic 2 жыл бұрын
A rhythm set is just a list of all rhythms that may be in a rhythmic dictation. I organise them in a certain way that makes sense to me!

I am adult piano at intermediate player. I would like to learn movable do solfage. Do you think this material would be useful for self learning also? I my country there is not much solfage courses, even less movable do.

Hi Alejandro and thanks for your message - absolutely! To chat in future please feel free to email me directly [email protected] The Level 3 resources do just that. The PDFs are fully interactive so you can work through the book AND click on the links that take you directly to videos of me teaching the concepts etc plus heaps of other stuff. To avoid huge postage costs I would suggest you consider the Digital Teacher Pack - which includes bother the student AND the teacher PDFs so you can correct yourself as you go here - dsmusic.com.au/product/level-three-2nd-edition/ If you do go ahead with your purchase I am only too happy to help out with questions etc you may have as you proceed through the books. For example I am currently giving a series of webinars based on the Level 3 books each week dsmusic.com.au/events/ which you could actually "come" to if you are interested? Read VCE as adult students (17 and up). In addition to all this there are some other videos I would suggest you have a look at on my main video channel on Vimeo - vimeo.com/443529891 all about singing and solfa AND vimeo.com/443529963 about music as a language. Hope to hear from you soon and stay well and safe during these strange times, Regards Deb
