Nice rain. We had a beautiful rain here at my house in Alabama yesterday after weeks of high 80s and 90s. I appreciated it so much. Btw, I thought of a different name for your channel that I think suits you. Grizzly (and your last name that I saw on the side of one of your work trucks), and if you wanted maybe add Camping Adventures. Just a thought.

I really enjoyed this video. Beautiful location & relaxed style. I used a cheap alcohol stove for a while but it wasted & fell apart in my hands after about 30 uses. Since then I traded up to Trangia & have had at least three years out of it already, always worth the extra expense to buy quality gear. I just use my stove with a crusader mug & don't bother carrying all the extra pots etc.

Hi! You asked for suggestions and first of all Lone Camper is a great name! I have just one idea, please develop your editing skills as some activity is tediously long. It is beautiful how you successfully blend your photography talent and nature. I find videos which are more often than not about 20 to 25 minutes easier for this old lady to watch the entire video in one sitting. I do enjoy your voice overs with sharing like not wanting to go grocery shopping. 😂

Brilliant work ethic he has inherited👌👌👏👏🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻had to chuckle at 65 on a bike and too old?? My brother is 88 and still rides his motorbike. The yellow heat does not burn as hot as denatured alcohol. Also keep in mind that there is other stuff in the heat that is not in the alcohol. I have tried both. The other thing is that yes they do pretty well in colder weather just keep in mind that you will have to allow the burner to burn a little longer for it to properly blume before you start cooking. You will be able to tell when it is ready because the flames will be coming out through the holes at the top of the stove rather than just from the fuel well. It will blume quicker if you warm the brass in your hands before you light it.
