Aw man you're making me regret buying my 2 whelen dual avenger 2 trio lights. I run them in the rear but im looking for a dash light now and i figured id check out the competition. Lol

Whelen makes a great light. That said. The avenger 2 was disappointing to me. I’ve seen both I prefer this as the use of dash lights is to be pretty discrete until on

Yes if you open it up. You can solder to the other terminals it’s not hard.

@@Paul.atherton get yourself an ac to dc power supply dude you can find them cheap on Amazon or a Hobby Shack you could also take an old lap top charging cord and after the distribution Cox going to what used to be a laptop or whatever put some alligator clips that’ll put out enough amps to power up most any light bar

What wire do you need to connect to make it dual mode? I don’t need flood but would like to be able to set 2 separate colors flashing

Inside there’s spots for 2 wires. One I sync one is mode 2 you need both wires imo solder wires to those spots. You really can’t re assign flood mode as you’d have to in solder and re solder and at that point it’s pointless

How do I make the Amazon 5 wire xstream into a cig plug model? The cig plugs that you can buy only have 2 wires

You shouldn’t want to. You would need to do a sig plug. To a switch box of some sort. No cig plugs have enough switches to use all the features. If you want like 2 features like. Warning and second warning then you could wire that up. But yea not worth it. Just hardwire it

With the hardwired version can you set mode 2 to a cruise mode? I was under the impression I could do that with the cigarette plug model but I cannot it only does the white with the override switch

The override switch when you hit the color mode button on the side gives you the option to use the white override as red steady for California. When you have hardwire you can use mode 2 as a stead burn if you want as wel and still maintain an override for flood

Yes. You can flash each color independently or in combo with others. However you want to flash it this can flash.

Dion P honestly. The amount of time it would take would be too long. It has like 20 flash patterns. But each can be both modules at once or side to side. Not to mention any combination of the colors in there. This is Tri color.

i love it more than any light ive had. the size and versatility is amazing i would next time buy the hardwire version to access all the features such as a second warning mode and sync. also the one thing i am having trouble is finding a way to perm mount it, the brackets for these seem super hard to come by

Dirty Steve I don’t think it’s too small. It’s brightness makes up for it. From what I’ve been told the xstreme is a brighter and more visible light than the viper series

Zak Gill technically per law they do for now. Law is being changed to blue. Not to mention I was a firefighter with already blue lights and wasn't going to do separate setup for green. LE doesn't care what color you're using as long as it's for the right purpose

+Paul Atherton it's the sync that sucks. If you view any feniex pattern in slow motion I'll see there's not enough time in between flashes and you can see both modules are on together which gives the affect that it's out of sync. With the quad on the t3 it's not that bad but I'll post a vid where you can clearly see it. Check out my latest vid of my taillights

Been checking out the Feniex brand for the last week, ordered some F6's. Gonna try and mount two on a rear plate bracket with the "brake flash", and then use the ( as i order split red/whites), whites for warning. Also gonna add two ( Red/Blue) to the front and see how they do. I had a whelen Law4 in my Old car to which i sold and I have been hearing good things on the Feniex brand. Not two much on wiring them tutorials so i will have to see how i fare in that challenge.
