Ive had a 2002 ER5 for a while now, and im very pleased.,just make sure there maintained regularly,like most bikes,50Hp is really ok for your first or second bike experience, or you just want a good commuter.Good on fuel as well.

Your weird Billy no mates!!. Are you actually turning around and chasing people out driving and then even weirder to turn after them again when they do a u turn??? Wtf man leave them alone. Secondly I bought a 97 er5 with 14000 km’s 5 days ago and it looks like a 1 week old bike,it’s so clean and original and goes like a <mmm well it goes like a 97 er5 which is why I bought it for my wife to teach her to drive this summer. I have a assortment of bikes from Ducati S4’s, ZXR 750, some more classic sports bikes that I still stand and stare at and some new ones,some Ktm motards, trials and crosses, I’m not rich I just love bikes hence I’ve been driving for years and you should not think that your well able to keep up with a sports bike on an er5 because it will end in tears or worse. They have handling and wide grippy tires and yours is very nimble in traffic and small roads but can’t stop or grip those little bicycle tyres so for you own sake stop ffs chasing strangers on the road ( ok if your going same way to chase a little but to go out filming and doing u turns is just f-king weird man) and if you look at you speed and not you rev counter then you will realize that you are driving about 100km’s 🥱🥱🥱 that’s not racing mate. Don’t over step your bike or your limits my limits are very high but that took years of stupidity and injury’s in the 90s but I learned it the hard way and with a lot less traffic and families on the road. Enjoy your driving and be safe for you and other people but stop harassing strangers and trying to be cool just be cool and go your own pace. P. S GoPro’s make it look a lot faster then it really is. End of rant from a crazy Irish man on Swedish roads. Have a nice fast safe summer🍀

i think this ride was not fast as in the video, cause it seems the video have been manipulated, I guess 10-20% faster than the real life.
