I think my problem is last time I got a size up so they would fit with socks, so now it just feels weird to have them so snug. That and my last pair died on me a decade ago. It was also the one with the Velcro strap in the middle and I really miss that. Also the heel loop tab I miss, as these ones don't have it, which kinda makes it a bitch to put on lol.

men's have wider toe boxes. So a man with slender feet may prefer women's and vice versa. Since theyre adjustable I'd go with men's so you have the bit of wiggle room.

not good boots to use we live in 2019 not some 10k years into the past. go to the beach with them and have your foot be cut by the glas left by people go to any other palce and have your foot stuck by sometjing dangerous, shoes are ment to protect feets not to expose them. if you want to have boots like that you can use any material like tower or something and wuala you have the smae shoes with smaler price

The entire point is that it's minimal to encourage the manner in which a foot naturally works and doesn't have tons of padding and "support" to impair yourself.

A few points here (I am talking about the authentic version, not Chinese knock-off mentioned in the video): 1. These shoes are designed for a specific purpose, so if you don't want to use them for that purpose, then you aren't going to be happy with them. They are designed to be as close as possible to feeling barefoot, to dry quickly if they get wet, but to have a great grip and to be as compact as possible. 2. They aren't going to do all things for all users. If you wear these on with SOCKS! his foot is going to slip around in the shoe... They are also designed to be adjustable fit. If feet are narrow, it will look like that your needs to tighten them up on the velcro, but the chances are you will not need or want to. 3. Yes, the fabric is thin, but they quickly if wet. 4. I can even wear my orthotics in these if I want. Conclusion: They are reasonable price (it's Vibram! - world's leading sole manuf.) and if you actually use them for what they are designed to do, they are extremely innovative, very comfortable and have a superb grip. They don't look cheap to me and I like them.

@@davidleal714 , what kind of exercise do you have in mind? They are not meant for constant sprinting or marathon running, but you can walk, hike, cycle... They are also made from antibacterial material which should eliminate or at least significantly minimise bad odour. However, if you do go for a long walk or you have sweaty feet, I do recommend you to wash them with water under your tap. They get dry so quickly that you can probably wear them in an hour or so if you put them in a well-ventilated sunny or just warm place. I use mine for walking and also used them a lot when I was at the office since you can just throw them in your backpack/bag easily . They feel like you have socks on with superb grip. A word of caution: due to the nature of these shoes, you will feel bumps, little stones and such. If you do not like that or live in an area with lots of broken glass, sharp stones etc., then this footwear is not for you.
