Thanks for posting. I will be on the ship in exactly a month November 3rd Overall food looks good some items look questionable, but honestly, I feel like carnival has stepped it up with their buffet. People complain that there is not a large variety, but I’ve sailed Royal Caribbean the last few years and while they do have a lot of variety, most of it is not very good..

I was undecided whether to get off at this port, whether it was worth it. I watched many videos but I found your videos the best. You show and talk about common sense stuff and the others focus too much on the places. Thanks for the info...going there in December

Thank you for sharing this video. Of course, this has nothing to do with the quality of your video, it was great. But the food does not look appetizing, at all. In my opinion breakfast seemed marginally better than lunch and dinner although those bananas have seen better days. I would have been very disappointed to see the quality of that food. However, maybe the taste was better than the appearance. Thank you very much. I did enjoy your video. 🙏

I was onboard January 2023 and returning March 2025. Some of these changes had already taken place. It will be interesting to see what is new after the refurbishment.

Were the spots walkable or do you need to take a taxi to get to them? I know the beach gets crowded in the area close to port. We’d love to find a less crowded snorkel spot. Great footage and beautiful blue water.

I am shocked at how unappealing the food looks -- so much worse than on my 22 Celebrity cruises of 2008 to 2022. Maybe you missed some important items -- or maybe some horrendous cut-backs have taken place during the past two years. I am really worried now. I may never cruise again.

I like their omelet station where you can design your own. So many choices!

Found out about this place a few years ago. It's usually our first stop to get a couple of bottles of cold water before we start walking around the port or head to an excursion. Surprisingly, with more people mentioning it on social media the past couple of years or so, we've never found it crowded.

going on this ship in oct my 9 yr old could eat two of these entress. most adults three. That is why buffett always crowded. If I go to dinner at the early seating 5:30 I will sure want to have a snack by 9:30 if I only ate 1 tiny app 1 tiny entree and 1 tiny dessert at 5:30.

Holland America is known for their high quality food. The menus are different for each cruise with some local flavors of where you are traveling. Alaska cruises offered many salmon and fish dishes. Greek Islands had Greek inspired dishes. I always find that I can order a dimply prepared salmon or steak dish every night . They used to list it on the bottom of the menu. But you can ask for it. Also feel free to ask for multiple dishes like 2 appetizers. If you need a special diet like low sodium you call the cruise line ahead of time to request it. Then check with the dining room manager your first night. They give you a menu to fill out the night before each dinner if ordering a special diet. Also you can usually modify dishes you order from the regular menu like substitute or delete something
