We’re cruising on the Celebration next May. We’ve already cruised on the Mardi Gras and Jubilee so we know we’ll like it! Even though we didn’t like Chibang on either, that’s ok cause plenty of other places to eat. Can’t wait!

Glad you enjoyed the video! We spent about 3-4 hours exploring the island with our golf cart. The island is relatively small, so it's easy to navigate and relatively hard to get too lost. There's only a couple of "main" roads, so if you make a wrong turn, you can just head back to the main road and get back on track. If you download an offline maps app, like Organic Maps, you'll have an even easier time!

Addition notes, there are 4 Carnival ships that can carry more than 5 thousand passengers: Celebration, Jubilee, Mardi Gras and Venezia (a Costa ship). On the smaller ships there are less restaurants than on that Carnival big 4 ships.

New York is rich in interesting experiences one of which would be maritime laws and travel. Metronorth to Connecticut is so convenient to New Haven, and southern Connecticut is the beneficiary of the wealth of people in NYC.

This is the best presentation of any Carnival menu I’ve ever seen. As the last commenter stated, others go through the menu so fast you have to stop and rewind over and over again. I have some minor food allergies, so this will help me to make some decisions about menu items before my upcoming cruise.

Just found this today, sorry! But wanted to add that we buy decorative keychains in the ports we visit and hang them in our Christmas tree. They are usually as nice as the Christmas ornaments, but a lot cheaper.

@@lauriegrube007 Hi Laurie, If you mean specialty dining like Chibang and Cucina Capitano then it is included the first round ($8 after). Other such as 555 Steakhouse, Emeril's Bistro, Rudi's SeaGrill, Bonsai Sushi & Teppayaki are not included.

During our recent HAL ' 'Dressy Night' events, we have noticed a few guests dressed in formal wear such as evening gowns, cocktail dresses, tuxedos, and suits. However, many guests (including ourselves) gravitate towards the more casual side of the permitted "Dressy Night" dress code. Men often go for a polished look with button-down shirts and trousers, occasionally adding a tie to the mix. Some great tips but on my cruise, the morning crowd at the Java Blue Cafe was huge with long lines of people ordering specialty coffees. The pastries were gone quickly and not replenished. Maybe you didn't have coffee drinkers on your cruise.

I really appreciate the pace at which you scan through the menu. At least I can read it without having to stop the video. Also, one of the other people I follow goes through the menu so fast and switches to the next page before I have seen the end of the menu. So, thank you!

Holland America always has smaller numbers of kids compared to the more kid-focused cruise lines, but Christmas is one of the times where you'll find more kids than usual. Usually, there's a dozen or so kids for each age group, which our Jelly Bean actually prefers compared to the hundreds of kids on the kid-focused lines. Hope this helps!
