Morgan roadsters,old 1970s Fiat 500 Gamines ,American Bantams,etc. are all awesome cars they reminds me of the real life version of a Toontown,Loonytunes,or Noddy car!😊those old school cartoon roadsters were so awesome and adorable and always wondered if cars like that actually existed! its nice to know im some ways they do!

Man if you’re gonna sell a car at least say the right thing. It’s not super handling all wheel drive it’s smart handling all wheel drive. Imagining selling a car you have no idea what you’re talking about

I'm a mechanical engineer. I take care of my engines. At less than 100k miles with this engine I had high oil consumption, timing chain stretch and replacement, seal blowout. No more Chevy for me.

What about the front timing chain guide that breaks on EVERY 2.4 ecotech?? EVERYONE CLASS ACTION SUIT NEEDS FILED.
@TheRandy3D2 жыл бұрын
My ecotec 2.0 Cobalt was the most reliable car ever, never used oil.. never leaked. 2.4 powered Malibu super dependable never leaked or burnt oil.. always on point but my 2012 equinox 2.4 no leaks no smoke just randomly uses endless amounts of oil... reliable but I know I can't trust the equinox 2.4 like I did with previous ecotec engines I had

This motor is shit I have been 4th gen on GM I am so pissed I will never buy GM again. Timing Chain. PVC plugs up blowing out rear main seal. What a pile of shit.

@mr.boostang20643 жыл бұрын
It's not too bad, Honda has 140hp on the new HRV amd 190hp on the new CRV. Toyota was making 176hp on the Rav4 in 2014 so the 182hp rating on the Equinox was very competitive.

Great! He only forgot to mention that engine won't last more than 100k miles!GDI technology is trash, carbon build up, timing chain failure, oil burning, vvt solenoids failure .

I'm glad that I bought a '10 TSX V6 over a decade ago. It's still running great at almost 150K miles. I'll most likely be driving it until it dies. Although, the soon to be released Civic Hatch Touring looks tempting.

What a pieces of junk engine. They added every possible way to ruin an engine. Really "direct injection, Volkswagen had so much problem with carbon buildup on the valves because of it. Burning oil, piston ring failure, timing chain broken and a poorly design intake plenum causing pcv to clog. American people are look for a reliable engine and not a disposable engine.
@dylanspencer36623 жыл бұрын
Yall saying these are horrible engine mf i twist one of these engines with no balance shaft too 8200 rpm at a constant its called maintenance people maintenance
@mr.boostang20643 жыл бұрын
The early models 2010-2012 had oil burning issues and timing chain issues. After that they were decent engines, some even found homes in recreational vehicles aswell.

@chrisbondra20903 жыл бұрын
Great, engineered for gas mileage, but still saves no money because the engine self implodes. Only Toyota for my family from now on. Been in chevys since 1990. Never again.

That engine is the biggest piece of shit gm has ever made. That guy is definitely fired. Those engines eat a quart of oil every 500 miles. I wont blame him for the shitty supplier parts like the piston oil rings, thats what happens when you outsource those parts to third world countries in Asia land, child labor and JUNK!!!!!!!!
@worthey19693 жыл бұрын
It's crap all the oil goes out the exhaust , cracks exhaust manifold and timing chain guides fall apart.
