Let's not forget how Tirek was also a cunning manipulator who was able to trick even Discord into helping him. In season 4, he was more than just some superpowered bruiser: he was a devil figure who was capable of deceiving the Lord of Chaos himself. He also knew how to keep Discord on his side until the moment he surpassed him and betrayed him. I wish season 8 and nine kept focus on this aspect of Tirek instead of letting him become a source of comedy when there was nothing funny about him. There's a good reason Tirek is my favorite MLP villain, and was deserving of being rebooted from Generation 1. In my honest opinion, at least.

I think that it would be more fitting if Trixie had Bellatrix’s voice. Also, for some reason, I would picture Starlight Glimmer with Dolores Umbridge’s voice. EDIT: I am legitimately surprised that Trixie was not mentioned in this ranking video.

I love Discord as a reformed yet still chaotic character... but in terms of a threatening villain it has to be Tirek ;that scene where he was sucking out the magic and tossing aside legendary elements like discarded trash was highly disturbing to me.

Discord should never have been reformed, he was a better as a villain. Also he should have been a bigger threat because he’s a reality warper
