I'll tell you what I appreciate most about this video. The lack of that idi0tic "after the break" opening branding video snippet that every Tom D!ck and Harry seem to be using on KZbin that they think makes us think they are NBC or something.

Worked great for me, In addition to the key shown in this video, a key which worked exactly as shown in the video, I have another. different, key to the same car. It works differently than shown but I was still able to use your insight to get into it. On that one the metal valet key has a tiny prong on the front of it that is like a flat screwdriver. I was able to insert that into the body cavity and press a tab and release the battery tray. The other side of the tray had a static lip that held that side in, but once the one side was released that static lip got enough clearance that it could would release.

My friend Mine is W219 broken.. I replaced with used one very clean and motor test is work and completed lubricant when we press the button going up okay When pressing the button again, only click without going down What i should do?

I have a 1996 c220 and when I pull the switch out lights fogs come on however as soon as I let go of the switch it sucks back in the switch and they immediately turn off. In order for them to stay on I need to hold the dial or pull it the whole time?? Weird.

Man, thanks for the vid! I keep forgetting it and every year during a technical inspection (I don’t need to use fog lights fortunately, the xenons are enough) I search for it 😂 now after your video I’ll remember it.

WARNING: see end of comment. Had an 03 e55 amg and remember there being 2 fog positions or settings, 1 turned the fog lights on like normal (maybe was a button? I forget), but 1 involved pulling on the knob and it causing 1 taillight to be brighter than the other, and possibly turning 1 foglight off? Apparently it had to do with driving in extreme fog or rain conditions.. all I know is I'm glad I figured it out early because accidentally putting it on this setting created the PERFECT setup for being pulled over for having a "light out". Doh!!! Dumbest feature on the planet smh..

Regarding key fob for a 2002 Mercedes sport coupe do the ignition lock if key fob go out? My key fob is different
