Wow, that was wonderful to watch! Amazing to see what a collaborative art form it is. It takes a team of incredibly skilled people to complete all the necessary steps, something I didn't realize before.
Have a sizeable collection of Japanese textiles I always enjoy. Understood much of what went into making them. Now I know, after 40yrs of collecting and study. You have shown me how little I understand.
Awesome. The Beauty in these Creations. Just Breath taking. Thanks for a brief insight into your world of Art.

Omg, this is how they make the silk fabric for the kimono??? I have two whole bolts of kimono silk 65+ years old, from Japan, and was going to use them to sew traditional kimono.. I'm kind of afraid to use them now..

Not using them is not the way. Did you do anything with them during lock down? Would be an interesting project to film. Just remember the first step. 👘Plan.🌹🎭🕊

Wow, this just looks sooooo gorgeous 🥰 I love how these garments are the exact opposite of our clothing culture nowadays. That there's so much craftsmanship going into they're making, there,'s no left-over pieces of fabric when they're sawn, that they would be cherished, passed on as heirloom pieces even and repaired rather than throwing them out 🥰
