Clickbait! Coyote did NOT "attack" the dog. It chased dog away that was infringing on its personal space. There is a difference. Coyotes are well known nuisances due to overbreeding and man clearing away their natural habitats. They're well known for killing and eating pet dogs, cats, chickens and yes - human babies and toddlers! They are cunning and opportunistic predators. Otherwise they like to be left alone and will do the same when unperturbed.

Coyotes are an invasive species that have adapted and used human habitations and behaviors to further their own survival. It’s not a plot, it’s about their adaptability. Kudos to them on that. But they aren’t to be admired any more than any other species, and I have no problem with anyone eliminating them. Anyone who gets warm and fuzzy about a coyote is incredibly naive.
