Very good video, your channel is top, but I have a question, the chrome brush in my blender is extremely big and has problems of not painting well if you reduce its size, anyone with the same problem or a solution? thank you

hey emily that "blue" effect is cause by the subsurface scattering settings in the materials. Search that should lead in the right direction to fix that issue.

@@emilyfearYes when you choose the preset for SSS, on the drop-down try switching. It’s one or both of the Random Walk ones that does that. The Christensen-Burley setting seems to not have that problem so hopefully it will save you some pain next time.😂 The reason this happens is Random Walk it doesn’t seem to like meshes that aren’t solidly enclosed. If it has a part of the mesh that has cut off edges-like a plane, the eyes and eyelids on Suzanne, or hair planes like you seem to have here-Random Walk causes weird inverted colors around those mesh edges.

@@nrdkraft Thank you so much for the advice, I'm definitely gonna refer back to this comment if I run into the same issue again lol 😅

Great work! If you do figure out how to get the skin to look more "realistic" from Daz models then it would be great if you made a video on it. I've been messing with it for a while myself but can't seem to get it right.

I'm definitely gonna keep testing and researching, once I figure it out I'll put it in a yt video! ☺

Another way of change going how the texture is changed is by finding how big each part is, for example if it is 2 metres then you divided the x scale then divide it by 2 because that’s how big it is. Do the same for Y and it’ll be exactly as it shows. Things like poly haven will tell you, and poly haven is an amazing free texture website

In the collision modifier and the cloth simulation there are tolerances for collisions. In the cloth its under the collisions/self collisions tab, In the collision modifier its at the bottom
@emilyfear3 ай бұрын
thank you!!!!!! :)
@fisherman101013 ай бұрын
@@emilyfear actually, now that I think about it it may be better to run the cloth sim without wind (or very little wind), then apply the cloth modifier again with stronger wind and pin the cloth along the leg that the wind is blowing towards.
