That actually sounds like it belongs and not like a high RPM truck engine in a tractor. Very nice; like the idea!

Can you point me towards where you found the air filter and the two breathers up top for it thanks..
@knoxtrux18574 жыл бұрын
Hey Matthew, you can find the two mufflers and air cleaner on eBay, I’ve bought a lot of Onan parts there. The engine I’d an onan ccka engine. They are awesome quiet running efficient engines! Good luck with your project

the 1150 - 1155 both had v8540 perkins they were cool sounding!.. the weak spot on the 1130 was the high low little power shift, and the pto can be problematic, but they are a really sound and efficient tractor, mine is 1968 model, i put a white tractor cab on it with a/c so its pretty nice to run! i only use it for pulling hay equipment.. hopefully it will last as long as I do haha
@Digginok6 жыл бұрын
My Dad bought one brand new, it had lots of power and was a handy size , but it had a lot of problems. I remember the loaner 1155 more than the 1130. I wasn’t very old back then. I think the 1155 had a Perkins v-8, it was a hoss. Don’t see very many of them any more though.

This is an earlier 5010 John Deere tractor, and I've repowered it with a Detroit 6-71 diesel engine. I had to build some adaptor plates and figure out the clutch/flywheel combo, but in the end it works great. I have an EEZE ON loader on it, and it works really well for loading and handling 1300# round bales. Its quick and powerful! I'm going to paint it this winter, and finish up a few small details.

This little john deere 4010 is completely rebuilt! It has a brand new 6-404 late model john deere engine, new radiator, new clutch and pro clutch, new seat, new paint, muffler, batteries, electrical, etc! It runs like a watch! Beautiful tractor, and has a nice ezee on loader with joystick control. Thanks for looking!

Hey farmboy, thanks for checking out my video. I repose red it with a hercules d300 6 cylinder Diesel engine I mounted a cummins 5.9 turbo on it to add a little horsepower and quiet it down. Quite an Improvement over the old gas engine it had. Lots better on fuel and much nicer to work around now. I was running some 5/64" lincoln innersshield wire with it yesterday at 700 ipm at 35 volts. Really stacks iron!
