Thanks for the vid, great old photos, wish I could go back to that time. Had a couple of lessons with Dennis Durnian. He had massive frames built that were designed to groove the swing plane. Made a racket.

Nice video, but you missed the marvellous Denny West window, the glory of the whole building!
@journeyman19668 күн бұрын
I couldn’t go too far into the church as it was being prepared for a wedding. The purpose of the video - as it is with all my other videos- is to provide a general overview of the church and surrounding area. To be honest I didn’t know about the west window until now so I might have to make a return visit and take a look.

Only Fools had a great supporting cast and Boycie was a huge part of it. John Challis was perfect for the role.

Whitbourne is a large village off the main A44 and the church is quite easy to find. The only problem is finding somewhere to park.

Another of the very good, early rockers who left too soon taking their talent away. Pretenders were not the same after Farndon and Honeyman Scott left.

The church is by the A49, a main road between Hereford and Leominster. Pete Farndon’s grave is about 20 minutes away from here off the Worcester Road in Withington.

Location. At the extreme North end of Warren Wood a short walk from the main car park.. Marked on maps as "Shepherd's Cottage". Built in 1840. The windows and door were boarded up but vandals have broken in and wrecked the place. It's a shame to see it so derelict, it will be completely gone in a few years
