Is it common that a service shop just have RM license on their laptop connected to a mobile radio just for pushing out the changes to subscribers or is this something that should be onsite all of the time keep in mind the customer does not want anything to do with the radio system other then daily use.

@ both are possible though it makes more sense to have a dedicated server for the core components to keep everything in one place as well as safe. The device programmer can be loaded onto laptops that connect to the server.

Most likely you have someone who has gotten hold of a radio that has been configured to work on your system. For someone with a radio; computer; software and programming cable, this is easy to do. Or it could be that the person causing the nuisance has one of your radios (i.e. missing or stolen radio). If you are using Motorola MOTOTRBO equipment throughout your system, you should ask the company who sold you your radios and set up your system to turn on the RAS (Restricted Access to System) feature in all radios and repeaters. Make sure that the RAS key (code) is kept secret. See cwh050.blogspot.com/2015/10/restricted-access-to-system.html. If you need to find someone to setup RAS on your system and don't know who sold you your equipment, this link will take you to Motorola Solutions' partner finder, where you can search for a dealer who can do this work for you cwh050.blogspot.com/p/where-to-buy.html. If it's someone using WAVE then you would need to have a gateway connected to your system. If you have a gateway then the troublemaker would need to know all kinds of information and will have needed an activation code sent by you (or whoever looks after your WAVE subscription, if you have one). The likelihood of this being the source is extremely small. Bluetooth requires a connection to a radio and the use of a Motorola wireless microphone. That is possible but the troublemaker would need to be within 10m (30`) from the radio and would need access to it to pair their microphone. The chances of this are also very slim.

@@cwh050 hi there, yes I tried it on a different PC and got installed no issues my problem is with the sql, by the way have you had any experience with the SI500 moto body cam was told that I could read these using the RM but I cannot the PC identifies the cam as an Android but there’s issues with the driver and I cannot find the right one, also this RM version I have worked for Android - Mototrbo - APX but can’t seem to be able to read it I don’t know if it’s because the wire I’m using is just a generic charging cable with the right micro USB connector or if I need an actual standard Motorola programming cable because I read somewhere where it has all the specs of this camera it just mentions a standard USB and all other accessories has their part numbers just don’t know if it had to be a Motorola because they do sell a standard USB for programming

In my case, the problem was the delay till TX the 5 tone was to short, but youmust also consider, only to change the delay of the first encoder message in telegram 2. if the delay between the two messages in telegram 2 is too long, you can also receive no ackn. The concept is easy, if you have a look on the RX side (decoder) than you understand, what to fill in in the encoder :-) kind regards
