Either got another deck or the trick is not as good as it could be, because its easy to think that’s the secret. If it is, well good for me, if not though i’d recommend filming this standing up so you kinda eliminate it being a different deck.

Ps do you make your own stripper decks?
@MagicForBeginners13 күн бұрын
I haven’t made my own yet but I’m really tempted by a stripper jig to start making my own decks as I’d love to have some custom stripper decks for decks that are usually just standard.

@@MagicForBeginners cool man, though I'm not a magician(yet) I'm a part time woodworker and Ive made a friend a set of magic wooden cups with hidden magnets. I'm going to look into making a stripper jig. I'll let you know how it goes. Any other suggestions for relatively simple gimmicks would be appreciated.

Hi mate. I watched videos in the past with you showing tricks and tutorials, and I think you have done one using a stripper deck. I have a stripper deck of cards, and I have had them for a while done, I am struggling to strip the deck because there iam no separating cards because there are always cards left in the pack. Do you have any tips on where in the pack to put your fingers and technique to do it.
@MagicForBeginners14 күн бұрын
I have a few videos with stuff using a stripper deck yeah. How are you currently stripping the cards? Do you hold the deck lengthways when trying to get them out or short ways? On my bigger 5 stripper deck tricks, I handle the deck completely different to how I do now and now it’s much easier. I’ll see if I can put together a video on the deck and the best way to handle it/strip the cards out from it.

Quick tips: -don’t whack the drums and the symbols too hard (it sounds great song it lightly) -loosen up a bit, you want control and to be able to play faster, you have to be relaxed -when you do a fill, always do soft, small hits, this way you will be able to play your fills faster (if you want) Hope this helped!

Mmmmm definitely interesting but it does seem a bit limited at the moment I guess playing around with different bottles and coin may help. Great review mate!
@michaeljohnauthenticАй бұрын
Yes, I give you what works best for me but I also cover the different routes you can take regarding different coin/bottle combos. Americans can use US Pennie’s and dimes in glass Mexican coke bottles (there are a few different kinds of glass coke bottles so you’ll need to experiment…the ones found at Chipotle work for Pennie’s and find ones in Walmart/target that work with dimes) corona light/premiere/extra/non alcoholic, coronita, etc, Modelo, I use La Gritona Tequila mini bottles with dimes and it works perfectly for an impossible souvenir (also great to carry in your pockets easily for walkaround), glass water bottles, Kona, as well as Miller, Bud etc. Hakutsuru draft Sake bottles work with a US quarter perfectly as well for the first method. I’ll have an upgrade kit available on P3 soon with additional variations, handlings, tips, ideas, troubleshooting/care etc. Hope this helps & thank you for the lovely review🙏🏼🙏🏼
@MagicForBeginnersАй бұрын
Thanks for the extra insight for people and thanks for the comments too, it’s much appreciated. I’m envious of the US market for this as it seems readily available for the trick over there, a bit harder for the UK but still do-able with the right setup.
@michaeljohnauthenticАй бұрын
A Singapore 10 cent piece works with a corona and a 5p works with a coke bottle. I did not develop this in the UK, so my experience is limited with those coins. Think of it as a treasure hunt of sorts. I’ve done most of this obsessive work for you already, it will just take a little extra experimenting if you do happen to be using foreign coins. Also a Canadian coin, a Mexican coin, an Auk coin, & Indian coins work. If I tried to provide a list of every possible bottle/coin combo that works, it would be a nightmare that never ends well. But it is very possible for foreign magi!
@michaeljohnauthenticАй бұрын
I’m confident there is a foreign combo that is just as practical as the American version. I’m sorry I don’t live there to discover what that combo is exactly, but I’m curious what people find! You might even try getting your hands on American Pennie’s by ordering them online etc and use a presentational angle to justify having them in play. I also use US dimes quite a bit as well for this. I think the suspicion of a tricky US penny/dime/quarter etc being used in a foreign country for this is eliminated when they keep it as a souvenir. But of course it is better to just use coins readily available to you.
@MagicForBeginnersАй бұрын
Yeah the possibilities are endless for coins and bottles and doing the research for all coins and bottles in all counties would take a hell of a lot of time. I suppose it would be a good excuse for holidays to travel the world and try them all out haha!
