I was never into Harleys until I bought a sportster so I could keep riding even with my knackered knees. This is a beautiful job, though I wouldn't like to own it here in the UK as it's never dry for long ☹️ Can I ask why you didn't route the brake and clutch lines inside the bars?

Beautiful 57, love all the TRI-FIVES, I was 6 years old when this car came out in 1957 what a CLASSIC, top shelf build all the way, always love the interior design on the 57's, THANKS for sharing.

In Canada, the Impala was also called a Pontiac Parisienne, which had Chevy motors, both built in Oshawa, Ont.

Pontiac was Pontiac. Chevy was Chevy ! Two different vehicles. Same motor and drivetrain but different bodies. The Impala compared to the Parisienne but was not called a Pontiac. It was Chevy Impala !

It is without question, a gorgeous '59. I personally feel the fender skirts and continental kit make the car look a lot heavier and less sporty. Sometimes less is more, even though yes, these are/were legit options. I've seen a lot of '57's ruined with these options. On those, the extra bumper guards and extra mirrors mounted on the fenders.

Back in the early ‘60’s, I had friends that had a band that played teen dances at city parks, I was equipment manager, we were 12-13 yrs old. Anyway, the lead players Mom had this same ‘58 convo that she’d put top down so we could get amps and speakers in then take us to the park to play then come back and load it up again to take us home, glory days👍😊🤠

Great great 59, but being the best?, the passenger door does not line up? passenger side bottom is out of alignment, and the front fender gap is off, fix that first, as the lines of the body are more important than the high dollar options.

I kinda see what your saying on door looks like a shadow but it's not like that in person, it's lined up. I don't think I could tell anyone's body gap shape off a quick blurry you tube video but I welcome you to show me yours then pull up and inspect mine.

@@RumleyMotors still a stunning beautiful car with rarest options. Nice power vent windows. Power trunk? Both debated 1959 options , but hey why not? Same with the factory cruise control mounting on drivers upper dash side curve. Some say only 1960. I am guessing 250-275k for this car today. Nice rarer colors. I wish I could pull mine up , but it is gone, had all options, a red factory fuelie 283-290hp from Luby Chevrolet Denver CO. One of 23.

@THEKINGSCOMING power vents were caddy option but added chevys didn't have. 60s for cruise yes 59 has speed minder and throttle holder which this one has. And I hope it's more then your estimate but it's never forsasle
