Along with this amazing song as well as the album that was one of the last that John Lennon got to sing and produce. Comes the sad sorrow that Mr. Chapman decided to kill AKA shoot John Lennon in the head for some unknown reason. After the announcement was made on the radio, I'll never forget. What happened. Next was myself and a friend. We immediately drove into the city to a building called the Dakota. Very elaborate for rich people right off of Central Park and they're all the cops or I should say policeman and all of John Lennon's fans. The news had already released that John Lennon never really made it to the hospital. He died along the way. That night. He was going back to the recording studio just to look over and edit maybe a few things. But overall he was content with what he had done with regards to the album and more importantly expressing his love for Yoko❤❤ It's ironic because John Lennon's songs on that particular album only spoke of the love that he had for his wife and his child and his happiness because he now had a real family of his own. When the last note was sung and then the album was getting to be released and he was so elated said the news and I believe that to be true. Some maniac decides to shoot him right in his head as he's coming out his apartment building where he had resided for a few years. Where do these crazy people come from? I don't think that Mr. Chapman knew to what extent he all did musical history. In a bad fashion not in the proper way. So we all go there. All the fans of John Lennon and we all get the candles and we all stand there in the cold. It was cold that night. I don't know why. I don't know what time but I'm going to be cold and wearing my jacket. It might have just been the shock of knowing he was gone. And as we all sang the song that was so instrumental in everyone's life. ❤ It was called,,,,,,, IMAGINE All the people living for today imagine. all the people living for today, you may say I am just a dreamer, yeah I'm not the only one. I hope someday you'll join us and the world will live as one. 🌍Imagine , he just didn't imagine it. He believed it. John Lennon lived in New York City. He had no body guards, no tracking device on him. He believesmd in the fact that human beings were good. During that time in American history. It was a rather good place to live❤. Those that live there at that present time in history really showes their kindness and gratitude to John Lennon as he was able to walk through Central Park. He was able to get his haircut at a barber shop. He was able to really just live in his neighborhood just being a person who really had a heart of gold. 💫💫The night that Mr.Chapman killed. John Lennon altered and changed a lot of people's attitude towards being afraid, instead of feeling safe anymore ,,,, walking around in your own neighborhood. That man destroyed so many of us who had a promising future and had to say wait , this kind of brutality was unknown to our generation. It was a horrible event that I attended yet John had given so much to the 🌎. His voice his talent and then the birth of his son Sean. It was all so beautiful. And then in one minute it was all gone. You learn a lot about life when you see death happens so rapidly.😢 Yoko never remarried, she continues to raise her son and today I hear that they're the best of friends as well of being mother and son. . I will always think of that every time I listen to this particular song,,,,,,,called 👠 Woman because he actually did dedicate it to his wife Yoko. Well John, you really did your job here. You tried to spread the Not only in the word but the meaning of peace and love.❤ That's 🤔 all We need in this world. It's just so hard for people to understand that concept ,,,,,We all loved John is efforts to make peace. Not a dream but rather a truth truth,❤️❤️🙏Rest in peace now.
