Disabling comments on your "Bethlehem" video doesn't make you less of an Anti-Semite and Hamas terror supporter. Shame on you for supporting radical Islam under the coverage of human rights.

I first heard your songs two years ago and was just fascinated! It's so beautiful... It's as if these songs are being played somewhere from the depths of the earth. I can listen to every song for days and weeks... (I`m sorry if i writes something wrong... I don't know english very well)

Has she explained the name spelling change anywhere?

I just googled it and apparently the name sioux was given to the oceti sakowin peoples by the countries who colonised them, England and France, but I’m not entirely sure on the distinction between the removal of the x

@@charissimpson235 Her birth name is Sioux from what I've found in my research but I wonder if it's a choice made out of a desire to not appropriate another culture's name? But she is Indigenous, just not Lakota-Dakota Sioux

@@charissimpson235 Kinda how Western powers named Palestine, to make people associate them with the ancient child-sacrificing Philistines, which couldn't be further from the truth as they are of Arabian descent and hence Ishmael, of Abraham.

This is a moving tribute to the lyrical wisdom that is at the core of my understanding of Mariee Siou's work. The poles will soon shift, the aurora slipped as low as Alabama, and even as we build our own obsolescence in metal children - the wheel still turns. Sorrow, madness and loss are still domain of the living. Thank you for continuing to bring the old magic as far to the doorstep of the cloud as we fleshy humans may ever get. I have heard the sound of the sun against my ear, a gift the same as the cockle shell, and the resonance you create is a true blessing. And what a delight to see Samantha Shay's showcase of work. It was not so maudlin as a dream, it kept the yearning awkward and genuine. That kinked hair dual mane and regal steed lost or loved. Was and wasn't. A flower pressing instead a moment in time expressed physically without the divine denied. Feminine the way Kali or mine beloved Eris are, when the end and the beginning meet, I can see the glimmer of that future vision. I am thrilled to see where further far the spark will catch and hope the two of you will collaborate fruitfully again in future projects. <3 <>>< ‽_‽
