Human made meteor shower...Wow...I was lucky enough to see a meteor in the DAYTIME in San Francisco Bay Area in 1966..about 5 or 6 pm. While in Tam Valley, my friends playing baseball, looked up, coming from roughly North to South, the meteor, appeared to be about the size of a small car.. You could hear the flames as it crackled overhead at great speed....it disappeared over the Marin Headlands headed towards Pacific Ocean...we ran inside turned on the radio...sure enough reports from all over Bay Area. From Benica to Tam Valley, reported to have crashed about 7 miles west of San Fran in the ocean.

Your air cannon design would probably work on small inaccessible fires. Sadly the high winds and super dry conditions in the LA area right now make it impossible to fight the fire. Your dragonfly jump-craft is an interesting design and it's obvious to me you put a huge amount of time and $$$$ into the prototype. Did you ever calculate the g-force the pilot would endure during launch? Seems to me it would be really high with those short "grasshopper legs". P.s. I'm really enjoying your book. Thank you.
