Thank you for the video, I'm new to laser, never thought it is possible to make a bag with wood!! Could you share your setting or even the design file?

Since I’m using a thin, 2.7mm, plywood it cuts and bends easily. I got the LX1 with 20w module, updated firmware and used 100,72,1 when cutting this bag. I bought the design at Etsy and scaled it to fit my material. Etsy, laser cut wooden bag clutch

LP4 1064nm. High 4k for black, low 2k for different shades of brown. 4k, 100, 50, 1 2k, 1-5, 1-5, 1

this is done with the 1064nm fiber laser correct?

Hi Where do you get the number 65.20 diameter from? I have the same tumbler and it gives me 25.50 diameter

Might be due to that 65,2 mm equals 2.55 inches. I measured the mug earlier, to 65.2 mm, with a caliper. Since I did a test round before, the value remained in that field.

Hi Frog :) Do you like your LaserPecker LX1? Will you buy it again after using it? In "official" video there's mistake and default on engravure... so I'm not sure which one to buy (looking for xtool and LaserPecker LX1)

Hi. Yes, I’m quite satisfied with the hardware but the app is still a bit immature. My impression is that most problems occur when creating designs in the app but since I manage all graphic in Illustrator I’m not affected by that. I test everything; graphic, material, settings, orientation, rotation, before going live so I’m very rarely negative surprises by the outcome. I’ve no experience of other lasers then LP.

Do you just use design space? I want to use light burn with my lx1 max. But it always freezes up during jobs if I do.

I suspect that a lot of us who just got our LP 4 (and like me-new to lasers-are out looking for videos like yours. Thank you for recording. Please give us more in your description, or just ask through what you are doing. There is not a lot of info out there yet, and videos like yours could really help!

That's very cool, so did the laser actually etch the glass or did you have to put something on the glass ?

Thanks. It’s a permanent white etching.

Black Tempera. A water based paint aimed for kids. I’m using a paint gun but airbrush or foam brush also works well.
