Thank you for posting this I'm working on a purchase of a 5th wheel for the first time and love the idea of the goose neck. One question if you would not mind, this unit vs other does not cause any trailer sway? Or is that just a non factor with a 5th wheel, I have a pull behind currently and am not happy with it. Thanks! Please make sure that you weigh your fifth wheel and truck at a minimum to make sure that you’re running the correct tire pressure. And just to make sure you don’t have too much weight on any axle including your pin weight. To make it easier to power reel your cord in use a clean rag or cotton towel to keep the cord clean as it goes in as a dirty cord will make it bind and hard on the motor.

Beautiful rig. Just to big for the two of us. We have a Torque T26 travel trailer and did purchase the patio tent before they were discontinued. We still have it and love it. Good to hear they are looking to be back in stock. Happy travels!

That is the "Coma Inducer" yes that's what it's called 🤣 it lives up to it's name 100%. I think we got that from Bed Bath and Beyond. They do sell them on Amazon, a lot of different styles and colors. We wanted something larger than standard, worth every penny 😁

Shortly after leaving the army in 1972 Rosie and I started kicking around the idea of camping. Soon after getting back on our feet financially working 7-day weeks and long hours we bought a tent camper and headed around the country. 50 plus years later and now on our eighth fifth wheel we are still on the road at least six months a year. I like to busk and hit jam sessions and open mics, so it really has been good. We currently own a Z3100 by Brinkley and love it. Enjoy your travel and no regrets! I think you will enjoy it for a long time, but as stated by other families when your children want to get involved in a more organized school programs. It becomes an issue especially if you have gifted children that could lead to them College Scholarships they are not privy too in a home schooled environment, while constantly moving. Don’t get me wrong. We are an older couple with 7 children and soon to be 9 grandchildren As retirement approaches we will transition to full time RVing. It’s going to be great to be able to spend 6-8 weeks visiting family spread out from Texas to Florida to Alabama to Kentucky and boondocking in the West

What are the AK axles and disk brakes you mention? Would love to get more information on what you feel is a superior axle and brake set up. I believe Brinkley should offer at least a disc brake upgrade to those that want it right from the factory. This is a big heavy rig that deserves the best suspension possible for full-time rv owners.

Most fifth wheels come standard with 7k axles and drum brakes. If you upgrade from the factory to 8k axles it also comes with disc brakes and the new capacity will reflect on the trailer's weight rating. Thanks for watching!

Yep, @rvyourway is spot on. We chose to upgrade from 7K to 8K axles which also included an upgrade to disc brakes. With a rig this size we can use all the stopping power we can get!

Congratulations on starting your next adventure. My wife and I retired in May of 2022, bought an Airstream and started traveling in June. We bought our Brinkley last July and love it. Brinkley RV is a great company and their customer service is second to none. Enjoy your travels with the kiddos and stay safe.

Brinkley is great about customer feedback and people weren’t wild about the comfort of the u-couch. There’s a new L-shaped option coming in the 2025s. We prefer the U simply because there are so many of us, but the new sofa looks amazing!!

I searched for coffee table lift hardware when searching for it. i would get hinges that have a connecting bar between them so the desk comes up even and not wiggly. Thanks for watching!

We're GEN-Y and long bed GM but you have room to get behind your tailgate. Ours is about 2" from coach, requires straight on backing up. I wonder what could be different about our trucks. '21 3500 srw.

We have the multi pro tailgate, that works great for hooking up any hitch in the bed and gives extra room. If you have that also, maybe we just have a longer overhang on our fifth wheel?

Awesome. Lifestyle LRV were well built with an in-house built box frame and robust axle hangers if not opted for the IS system. We had a 2014 LS36fw. Loved it and it was trouble free the 8 years we owned it. Safe journeys.

I’ve had mine since 2020 on our New Horizon Majestic . We had to talk to GenY to get the right weight. I think we have a 4500-6500 weight range . Our dry weight is 21500 and gross 26500 . We normally travel around 24000 . Love ours , at the time they didn’t make a autolatch in our weight range . Love having to bed free .
