"Hello, we'd like to have a WORD with you". (you've already given a dozen words...BYE!) and service people will say, " I will be with you in a second". I have to either say, "Time's up!" or request a sensible time period...a few minutes, ten minutes, a half hour?? Good, clear communication.

So who was at the door the second time? The same guys, or the real detectives? Did the rat poison not work? I can never figure out endings like this 😭

Wow! The whole cast was amazing, but that one Detective had the 1940’s patter DOWN. If you close your eyes, it’s like you’re listening to a 1940’s radio noir. Spot effin’ on. The whole short was amazing. More, please.

What a fantastic short film from start to finish. It was so tightly scripted, exquisitely performed and the atmosphere skipped from light hearted to tense in a heartbeat. It could easily have turned into a parody of the genre but it skillfully avoids doing that. Would love to see another short in this style.

Wow!! 🙂🙂😊😊 This is gonna definitely be added to my favorite short movies list. I like the movie a lot in general, especially how the setting is kinda what you would see from a 1950's movie. And really loved the shocking twist at the end! 😦👍💕🤩😍

Blown away by this whole thing! After the first two minutes, I decided this was good enough to show my own father. And boy was I right! My dad and I were cackling from start to finish. This is undeniably produced, but it’s the fantastic writing that holds it all together. This is the definitely the best thing I’ve seen in a long time, thanks for making it!

An interesting little piece of work. However, not hard-core noir, considering noir is a highly complex style and needs more headroom to develop the plot and mature. However, the suspense was well handled, the cinematographer - Gino Varisano did his job effectively and the actors played their parts well. The tear just below Miss Barton's left eye .... caught my eye, very minimalist, yet appropriate. Lauren Lavera stole the show. All in all ... captivating till the end. - SBR
