Would have be handy if you left the last 7 minutes & 11 seconds. You know the FULL show. You did a Ryanair on the landing, where people end up having a 3 hour bus ride too their actual destination. And still pay for a full flight...

Didn't know much about Andy Parsons until Mock the Week and, oh boy, what a sharp mind he has! Knowledgeable, excellent timing, brilliant follow-ups, witty put-downs - and a gentleman.

So much water has gone under the bridge since this, in the political realm. It is interesting to see that it is not true that “things can only get better” : don’t bet on it. I am watching this in 2023 and after the goings on both in British politics, USA politics with leaders, and the pandemic, global disasters and the war in Ukraine, threats of war with North Korea and China, the death of the Queen and Philip within 18 mths of each other, the royal marriages, scandals (Andrew, Harry/Megan) and lots of royal babies, terrible journalists being even worse than they were 8 yrs ago, the royals suing newspapers, another global crisis looming as banks crash again, not to mention the fact that the PM is a muslim! All I can say is leave the Scots alone…remember they never wanted to be bloody British anyway. Your ancestors should have pissed off and left them alone.

This is better than his mock the week or apollo stuff. He seems wooden on TV and almost scripted, nice to see him with a good set and freedom where he can improve if needs be, I'll deffo give his stand up a watch, it can't bri g myself to watch his mock the week. Surprised, he's actually a quite decent stand up. Changed my mind. You've made a new fan Andy, albeit your stand up shows, TV stuff I'm still on the fence.

I am Australian and have always loved his banter and humor, especially on Mock the Week. But I didn't know he had his hair stripped and then a polish. I am nearly there but I am holding of for the moment.

West Country. Andy Parsons was born in Weymouth and raised in Cornwall, where the West Country accent tends to be the strongest (think of Hagrid from Harry Potter).

I'll be honest, I never really rated Parsons on "Mock the Week", but this is a solid set and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice to be surprised in a positive way!

@@paulwwwynne same here, maybe that's why he needs more exposure on the circuit and live shows, cos he's better than the panel shows give him credit for, and in my opinion they restrict him. He needs more exposure or to do more tours as clearly had a bad press with panel shows and he's been pigeon holed in, that's probably restricted him S how he's been marketed and comes across. Deffo needs freedom to express himself.

Ryan was marginally funny to me, Widdecombe was much better IMO on a panel show, but on an open stage, Andy really is in his grove. this was an excellent set
