Sent my dad a text yesterday to let him know that I really, really love him. He taught me respect. He taught me how to be. The man I look up to most. I didn’t hear from him for a few hours and was worried he didn’t feel the same, but he texted me back and let me know he loves me so much and I just… couldn’t hold it in. I really think love is the best possible explanation as to why humans will keep going. Love is perseverance.
