@3dfashionsolutions I've had vstitcher for 2 years now, still haven't decided to learn it because there's barely any creators making tutorials on like how marvelous designer has 😭😭

@@DimiArt Check this video out for using mixamo animations with BW avatars: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5eYkGxnl7Ofhpo I will be creating one very soon showing how to import in custom animations for custom avatars. (Specifically for CC3/Iclone to VStitcher, but the concept could apply to Daz3D too possibly.)

Thanks for this great tutorial! Do you know if there's a way to export fur textures from VStitcher to Blender?
@3dfashionsolutions
@3dfashionsolutions Жыл бұрын
Hi Marin, Fur textures in VStitcher only work with Vray rendering. In Blender, you'll need to apply fur to the pieces using the particle system.

I exported the Oliver avatar and for some reason the eyes come in black when I export as obj, and changing the blend mode does not seems to work. ( ia also have toi change to eevee to get to the blend mode and then change back to cycles for rendering) I changed the eyes and eyesref file, and it eventually shows up in the viewport but when rendering eyes do not show up. Do you have any idea why that could be?
@3dfashionsolutions
@3dfashionsolutions Жыл бұрын
There is an additional material for the eye called mOliverEyeRef_0. You will need to connect the Alpha to the Alpha and also change the blend mode

I am not a designer and just learning this software so this question may sound completely ignorant but is there any way to simply trace the template in the book using the pen tool and then adjust the (3d) measurements in Vsticher based on my spec sheet?
@3dfashionsolutions
@3dfashionsolutions Жыл бұрын
You can bring the image of the pattern in as artwork, apply it to a square/rectangle pattern piece, lock it, and trace it to create a pattern shape. You will then be able to edit the points to change the measurements.

Very nice! An easier way to deleting vertices in Blender is by putting your object in wire view. This way, when you delete vertices with will “see through” the object and deleted it on all sides.

Thank you so much for these helpful tips! Could you share how you arranged the brim pattern pieces? I'm having issues arranging them properly. I currently have them on the head, "flat". and the back piece keeps trying to "stick" to the back of the neck instead of popping out. thanks!

@3dfashionsolutions 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Maxyel! The top of the hat and the front pieces are arranged on the front of the head and the back pieces are arranged on the back. The top piece is clustered as Cap Bill, and the front/back pieces are clustered as face curve/back curve. I hope that helps!
