Love the philosophy “there’s no one fly that can catch fish, but on the other hand any fly can also catch fish”. Here in the US we get way too wrapped up in specific colors and baits and then go on to blame some random factors when they don’t get bites that day

I caught 13 redband rainbow trout today ! Using a yellow sakasa kebari and a pink tungsten nymph. Most of my catches came from the kebari

I caught two trout yesterday on a beaded tungsten nymph it appears the trout in Utah like the kebari fly in shallow waters.
@tenkarafromjapan29732 жыл бұрын
Good catch. Only use the beaded tungsten nymph when the reaction is bad.

I have been catching multiple trout on a daily basis in Utah, up in the mountains where I am from. I would love to fish in Japan one day!! These techniques teach, the presentation of the fly and the casting are so important. Our presentation of the fly and our movements near the water increase our chances of catching fish!!

So much happier to sit and watch this well produced video than any of the English language videos I've seen. I just purchased my first Tenkara rod. I'm in Arizona. Looking forward to traveling to the northern part of the state and fishing for some of our native trout species.

Thank you for watching the video. Tenkara is simple and profound. Because the tools are simple, you will get a deeper understanding of the ecology of fish. Please enjoy watching this video. If possible, please introduce this channel registration to the anglers who do tenkara around you. The more viewers we have, the more content we can create(^^

@@tenkarafromjapan2973 My father and I have been fly fishing together for nearly 30 years, but the larger rivers we would fish are too physically challenging for him to navigate these days. We are learning Tenkara together now so we can make use of the small streams all around the area we live which are much safer and easier for him to take on. Thank you for sharing this fantastic information.
