Beautifully expressed, Beth. You honour your subjects by allowing their uniqueness to shine. Your portraits of people are both revealing yet respectful and also address the deep mystery that lies at the heart of us all. They are quite beautiful. As one of those who was lucky enough to have enjoyed being one of your sitters, I can attest to your rare ability to make people feel comfortable and respected by what might otherwise be a very intrusive experience. It was, strangely, a pleasure, but that is because you are a gifted artist. I wish Terri and I could be there for your opening but three thousand miles of ocean preclude!
